Self-warming cat bed
Soft, cozy, cat loves it! I highly recommend this bed because it keeps them warm, you can wash the cover, the stuffing is just right, it's durable, water resistant, and has a mild odor. I would buy this for my feral cat again.

great option for my cats and dogs during cold winter. Traps and reflects heat. Cozy
As shown and described. Soft fluffy sherpa-like fleece on outside (helps trap heat), interior pad has reflective material (helps reflect heat), slim zipper, slightly grippy bottom.Basically takes the animals heat and helps maintain it by trapping heat and reflecting it back. If animal or environment is actually very cold, then this may not help. For that, you may want to add under it a low watt heated pad. I did this for my elderly cats. They had their favorite place to sleep, and always had both options available 24/7.Good size for any cat and smaller dogs, or larger dogs that dont need their entire body on it. I bought the larger 29" x 19" because I figured if I dont use it for my cats, then my southern rescue dog would appreciate it during the cold northern winters. I can put it on my lap or underneath me if no one liked it.But, My cats liked it just fine, they like it tucked into one of their existing beds. However, I also tried it for my dogs, and as anticipated, my 50 lb mega mutt loves it. I usually put a nice blanket down for her on the couch, similar in material as this is, but it has brought her extra pleasure and comfort to have this slim pad to curl up on whether the blanket it there or not. This isnt my first self warming pad. I have others I have used through the years, and wanted another as the others are in specific locations that the cats sometimes use. This one is different in the top material is fluffy, and more flexible than the other two I own. Both styles are good, this one is pricier than the other I linked to. I think if I bought more, it would be this one. I like the added softness and flexibility, where as the other is slightly more firm. Depends on needs and where it is placed. This is neat. I will feel the warmth after she leaves it. I feel it on the top side as well as the underside. It isnt hot or anything, but it really helps the animal to keep their heat. So no loss but no major gain either. I wouldnt use these necessarily for an outdoor animal on its own. Maybe a very low wattage heat pad, then this with it if it is really cold out. Animal needs to already have some heat of their own in order for this to make sense. They cant heat up the pad if they arent warm. If elements strip away the heat, then this may not help them. But for indoor use, especially cooler environments (we keep our house on cooler side in winter) this can help immensely to keep them comfy. Or for those that simply like warmer sleeping arrangements.

Well-loved!
My 7 yr old cat loves this bed! She hasn't been a fan of round cat beds in the past and would much rather sleep in a window hammock or on the sofa. I thought I would give this one a try because it was flat, self-warming, and looked soft. Callie is definitely a fan --she knows it is her spot and makes herself comfortable! The fabric is extremely soft and doesn't get caught in her claws. I can't really speak to the self-warming, but she seems very comfortable when sleeping on it and will often be stretched out (instead of curled up to keep body heat). I have this bed on top of a cushioned ottoman to make it a bit more comfortable, but there is a bit of padding in it so it would probably be okay on the floor as well. Very happy with this purchase.

Heating pad for dog.
Soft, easy to clean and my dog seems to love it. Water resistant, fits nicely on her dog bed. Nicely priced. Good buy.

Well designed self warming bed
Well made but my cat wouldn't lie on it. 5 star quality, functionality, and appearance. It really appeared to be a very fine product but for whatever reason my cat wanted no part of it. She is finicky at times ... maybe it had an odor she did not like????? I liked the design, the removable cover, and the fact it was self heating.

Cats love these!!!
This self warming cat bed is all three of my cats go to bed both inside and outside. I have multiple beds. It’s soft for them and they naturally gravitate towards it especially outside. It is durable but probably not in rain or snow. I think it’s a good value for the money. Definitely nice when they are on sale!

Keeps my cat warm.
Bought this for my elderly cat. She loves it. She isn’t sleeping in front of the heater vent any more. Great quality. Very easy to clean. Two cats can actually comfortably sleep on this size mat. I would recommend this product to any pet parent.

Perfect for a New England Tomcat
I was a little skeptical at first. I bought this for a tomcat that decided that my porch is his home (I plan on bringing him inside once I get him fixed) BUT in the meantime I purchased this hoping it would keep him warm during this bipolar New England weather. Electric cat beds unfortunately were not an option- but let me tell you, this mf bed works BETTER. Instead of staying hot and possibly sparking a fire or burning your pet, this heats up gradually and safely using your pets body heat. As soon as I put it on my porch chair, he fell in love and hasn’t left it since. It’s been 4 hours lol. I tested it out myself, as I was worried that if he was cold then there would be no body heat to conduct. So I let my hands freeze in 20 degree weather and plopped them down on the pet bed. Immediately they started warming up. I’m beyond impressed and quite frankly puzzled by the magic of this pet bed. All I can say is buy it nooooow. Whether you have a cat, dog, bunny, peacock or honey badger- this thing will work. Best money I’ve spent in a while

Highly recommended for clingy cats!!
I have a cat who is a stage 1 clinger. Wants to be on my lap when I'm working at my desk, tucked in next to me while I'm sleeping, etc. Very cute but can also be a bit much! I realized he probably likes my body heat. He has never liked any bed I got him, so I was skeptical about buying this, but because it was affordable and there were lots of 5 star comments I got it. He LOVES it! He's much less clingy, and also seems less stressed (less meowing for my attention) because he's nice and warm on his blanket. I couldn't believe it, it's like magic lol. I got one for my partners cat who has also been wanting attention at night and keeping them awake, and it's helped their cat to calm down and relax too. He spends most of his day switching between his favourite spot on top of the couch and his new blanket.I will probably buy more of these for different areas of my house! I do wish they came in a slightly smaller size option too so I could fit one well on my desk, as my cat likes to lounge there when I'm working too :)

Happy Cat
The product is for the larger of our 2 cats. We have Lili a Burmese “ princess “ ( she acts like one) and a marvellous once feral long haired boy named Ganesh. Lili who is always cold find heat by snuggling with Ganesh and Ganesh goes to the heat when on. We decided that Ganesh needed a really good self warming blanket and this one fills the bill. Fluffy and thick and obviously comfortable and on top of that the outer cover is machine washable. Ganesh thanks you, Lili thanks you and “ Mum” and “Dad “ thankyou! Definitely recommendable. 😻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My cats use it & love it
TL;DR (for those not up to snuff on online lingo, this means “too long; didn’t read” and summarizes a lengthy post, or in this case, a lengthy review. You’re welcome.)– Gorgeous, soft sherpa or sherpa-like top cover.– The cats use it and will sometimes stay there for a long time.– Try covering it with a pillow case or one of your t-shirts if you’ve given them, say, a week or two and they really don’t seem to be catching on that this is a good thing. Also catnip.– It is not a bed but a pad. You’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting it to be thick like a bed.– It does not heat up on its own but uses the pet’s body temperature to provide heat. Hence the description self-warming or self-heating.– It is not noiseless. There is a quiet crinkle sound.– Overall an excellent purchase and one I highly recommend.I put this on a chair in front of the loveseat where we sit. It took both cats a few days to be brave enough to sit on it (we had placed them on it a few times but they jumped off of it immediately.) Once the cats discovered it for themselves they started lying on that chair when we’re in the room, and will sometimes stay there long after we leave for another part of the house.I bought another one of these of a different brand from Amazon (cheaper than this one) at the same time I ordered this. This one is much nicer, though to be fair the cats seem to like them both equally. I just think the cover of this one is softer and a better quality material. In spite of what the listing says, it is not quiet. There is a crinkle sound. To me it sounds a bit like when you pull apart clothes from the dryer that are stuck together by static cling. It is subtle but worth mentioning for people who can’t tolerate certain sounds. One of my cats kneads it before she lies down on it so I think she likes it. It’s like a crinkly cat toy.I see so many reviews saying the cat didn’t take to it. The key to making it work is just like the real estate mantra: location, location, location. And time. Just let them discover it and try it out themselves. It may take a while but be patient. Put it in a spot you know they like already, or are likely to like. In a sunny spot perhaps, but somewhere near you. Cats want to be in the same room as us, if not right next to us or on our laps. I saw one reviewer say that now her cat lies next to her on the couch since she got the pad. You can always put a pillow case or one of your old shirts on top of it — or wrapped around it — if your cat is fussy about textures and just doesn’t like the top fabric. Also try sprinkling a little catnip on it.Lots of comments in the reviews about it not being thick. It’s a mat, not a bed. You can put it ON a bed if you like but this is not meant to be thick like that, though admittedly they do use the word “bed” in the heading for the listing before they call it a pad.The mat does not heat up. How it works: the bottom of the cover blocks cold, the bottom layer inside reflects the pet’s body heat, the next layer up insulates, and then there’s the top cover, which is the part they lie on and is a beautiful, soft sherpa. It uses the cat’s own body heat to create the warmth. I have one of these I bought years ago that plugs in and even it doesn’t actually heat up but also uses the cat’s body heat & weight (it needs some weight, I guess, for all the layers to work together.)I am impressed. I wasn’t sure if it would flop because I was skeptical that it would stay warm as it says it does, but it works!
