A revelation that confirmed my ideas
A ver well written book that confirmed ideas I have held for many years and gave me tools to put them into deeper practice. Never one to interminally rest injuries, I would exercise without gravity or return to the field to start working on the area and rebuilding bone repair. This gave me so much of the science and many more tools to use and put into practice Scott's ideas and to continue in my quest to be as active as possible for as long as possible given my body's ability to naturally rebuild. Thankyou for this and for anyone else please give it a very serious go

Totally unrealistic
The author’s idea of broken is obviously very different to mine! The first exercise recommended for knee pain is a Bulgarian split squat- what planet is he on! Oh or we could also warm up with a Cossack stretch ….really. Eventually he mentions doing a wall sit, but if that produces pain there is no other alternative. Great book on training I’m sure but if he thinks this is a starting level of broken then he is deluded!

Waste of money
The quality of the paper is very poor. The pictures are not clear. Absolutely waste of money

Definitely helpful
This is a great book if you have pain and don't know what to do to fix it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I believe a couple of the exercises are not the best for someone having pain. He has you doing the cossack squat and goblet squat, these are both great exercises. The problem with this is that if you can't perform a basic bodyweight squat with proper technique you should not be doing it under a load. Many people with lower body pain have poor mobility and can't do these exercises correctly. There should be a progression built into these before you try to do it weighted. Other than that I think the book is definitely helpful and full of good information.I originally gave this book 4 stars, but have updated it to 5 stars. I decided to Email the author with some of my concerns and he actually emailed me back with suggestions to suit me! Scott has taken time to help a customer and I greatly appreciate that!

I'm 44, very active, dedicated to my fitness and completely injury prone. It's a tough combo. This book is a fantastic guide. It's getting me back to pain-free lifting and mobility.I loved every page. But do yourself a favor and actually read every page...It really does matter, and you'll be wiser once you have.I also appreciate the fact that in addition to the set plans (ranging from beginner to advanced),there is also a "build your own" section. This will ALWAYS be useful.Wish I had this book a few years ago!
