This game bundle might be the best value available in board gaming (at least that I've seen). Simple, short and enjoyable. Super quick to table. Relatively low luck (no dice rolling anyway) with somewhat "thinky" tactical gameplay. Easily customizable to increase its difficulty if you find it too easy (I've narrowly won every game so far using my hero's full decks -- but haven't played against Goblin yet). Fun to play solo and easy to manage multi-handed, allowing you to play with 2-4 heroes. A near perfect family game as it's an easy teach and can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. The components are surprisingly good especially given its low price. Card stock is decent and the cardboard chits are as good as any other game that I own. Location and villain boards are only as thick as the cards,

I've been playing Marvel United with X-men a lot lately and I wanted more characters. Without paying an arm and a leg on ebay or waiting 1 year for the next kickstarter and then waiting another year for it fulfill, I felt that getting this bundle was worth it. Dr Strange is a powerful character and Green Goblin offers a nice change in gameplay. And now I have another copy of base game to gift someone, I don't mind spreading the love, it's a great game. Only hang up I had was that my first order was canceled because the package was damage, so I had to order it again and then only the base box came. I filed for a replacement and I had full bundle in my hands before I even had a chance to send back the core box. So I had to wait a few extra and even though it wasn't a gift, I still got it before x-mas.

This is such a great game, and a great game bundle. The core game box, alone, has a fantastic board game inside. The game is super easy to learn, and teach, but there's so many options. There's several different heroes that players can choose to play, and there are even different villains to play against. It makes each game different, so the replayability is extremely high. With the additional expansion, and the Doctor Strange add-on, you'll have enough content to keep you going for a while. Long story short, Marvel United is a great board game. The Spider-Verse expansion, and the Doctor Strange character add-on really makes Marvel United one of my favorite board games of all time.

It' s a fun experience, easy to adjust difficulty. Miniatures are relatively easy to paint and very good quality.

This is one of the most fun games my wife and I have played. It doesn't hurt that we are both huge marvel fans. There may not be enough action for everyone, but for adults like me and my wife who are big kids at heart it's great. It took a few games to really get the hang of gameplay, but once you do it's a blast. I could see where some people may feel it gets repetitive, but we found it to be just right, at that sweet spot of not too long and deep gameplay. I love the artwork, artstyle, and the mini figures included. Of note, my particular set from Amazon included the base game (Marvel United) and the Spider-Verse expansion but is NOT the set that includes Spider-Ham. Instead it came with Doctor Strange which is actually better. I grew up in the late 70's and 80's so I very familiar and a fan of Spider-Ham, but he's almost...AHEM...to corny for the game if that makes sense. Like that takes it too far? Either way I think if you are a Marvel fan or a fan of these games in general you will enjoy it. There are many other interchangeable cards and figures in other sets, but I think they are mostly available on Kickstarter. You can find some on Amazon, but only available at ridiculous prices. You can't go wrong with this set or the X-Men set which is also available on Amazon and includes upgrades and improvements to the core experience.

I debated backing this on Kickstarter a few years ago (I wish I had); however, I am pretty happy with this bundle that, for about $35, came with both the core set, the Spider-Man expansion, and Dr. Strange. The components are high quality (for the most part). The miniatures are exceptionally - both in design/detail and materials; whereas the card are a significantly lesser quality. The other components, including both the "board" and the tokens are perfectly fine, with the former being lower quality and the latter being heavy/thick cardboard. Importantly, the game plays well and fairly quickly. Although I am unsure how frequently we'll play the game at my house, everyone who played (two younger kids and two parents) enjoyed the experience and are willing to play again. I don't think this game would have legs in my more serious gaming group. My major complaint is how fiddly the game itself is. The large variety of tokens and their constant movement make the game both a chore to setup and "messy" to play. Still - it's fun. If you can get this for a good price - mid $30s - and you intend to play this with the family or you/others are major Marvel fans, it's worth the purchase.

If I were a Kid I would've been obsessed with this game... I'm an adult and I greatly enjoy it for me and my family. I want every expansion and character. Below is my basic breakdown of the game: Pros: Easy to learn (for kids and adults) Intuitive and Unique gameplay Fairly quick 30-40 minutes Beautiful components (awesome miniatures of the heroes and villains and well-made cards/tokens). FUN AS HECK Cons: Requires a decent size table (not huge, but a card table is a little small. I'd suggest a dinner table). Core Box heroes and villains may get a little repetitive if played often (solution, buying expansions, which I believe is worth it). Expansions (some are hard to get currently, this might change with more printings of the game. Conclusion: 9/10 game

This game checked a lot of boxes for me. Very easy to learn and teach to basically anyone. Great value for the money. Lots of hero variety where different heroes have their own thing that they're great at. Need someone to hit hard, that's what Hulk or Captain Marvel are for. Want to move fast and be sneaky, that's Wasp or Ant-Man. Want to manipulate time and space, hello Dr. Strange. Want to be kinda good at everything and have everyone want to be you, enter Spiderman. The figures are good, but they look even better painted. Try yourself, or hire someone to do it. Once you paint some, you'll want them all painted. #brushupyourgame

Fun game, the base game alone gets a bit old quickly, but in this bundle, the variety significantly expands, increasing it's replayability and value a great deal. Would highly recommend getting this, instead of the base game alone.

Excelente opción para la ludoteca, es muy sencillo de aprender a jugar y divertido. Las miniaturas tiene una excelente calidad y acabados, el juego tiene dificultad ajustable por lo que es apto para cualquier tipo de jugador. Además, la expansión de Spiderman y el Dr. Strange hacen el juego aún más entretenido y disfrutable. Ojalá se animen a sacar más expansiones a la venta, he visto que en España si se pueden conseguir oficialmente, si hay mercado allá también debe haberlo en este continente.
