BahcoPG-M2-F Ergo Pruner, Medium

If you're here, click the buy button. These are great pruners. I've tested it on thick (well, quarter sized), thin, dense and fragile stems and had success with all of them. It's a smooth, clean cut and the pruners transfer force very well. The blades line up properly when closed. The locking mechanism is kind of a pain, especially for arthritic fingers. It's the little button nob design that you raise or lower in a channel.

Loved the pruners but, of course, have lost them already.

I used this same pruner for many years, but the spring fell off and was lost, so I had to purchase new ones. These are very difficult to lock closed. They keep popping back open. I am very unhappy with them.

Second pair we have purchased. We are blessed with a large garden. My wife spends considerable time pruning and is understandably rather particular about her secateurs. She is right handed and says that these secateurs are the best she has used. After many years of intense use, re-sharpening, spring replacement we thought it reasonable to buy a replacement pair as the old pair were by now simply worn out. Not the cheapest secateurs but well worth the money to avoid frustration and sore hands / RSI.

I love Bahco PG-M2-E Ergonometric Secateurs, I have been using them for 10 years on our small vineyard in Umbria and they get a huge amount of daily wear.They fit my small old hand very well, and are perfectly balanced ... BUT... the last two pairs that I purchased through Amazon, have had a major fault in that the clip that locks the blades together has not engaged properly, and the fault is not apparent until the metal packaging has been removed.Do the manufactures know of this fault ?

I use these professionally, as good as felcos better on your hands if using all day.

Should have been one of the best pruners one can buy. Comfortable to use but won't stay closed when not in use. So quite dangerous.

This is the second pair of Bahco Ergonomic Secateurs I have had and I wouldn't want to use anything else - the first pair had extensive use over ten or more years whilst I was a professional gardener and garden designer. Comfortable grip, and no strain when doing a large amount of work in the garden.
