Cicloferon Gel Cold Sore Treatment (Tratamiento del Fuego Labial) 0.14 Ounces (2 Tubes)

I was really excited to find this brand outside of Mexico and ordered two tubes. It is NOT what I purchased while on vacation in Mexico years ago. It is missing the main ingredient Aciclovir 5% which kills the cold sore before it can even begin. I was always able to stop it literally each time before it broke out. This stuff is a joke. I applied it at the first sign & continually applied it and I might as well have just used vaseline. Don't waist your money on this!

I found this stuff while on vacation in another country, felt a cold sore coming on. Bought it and immediately my cold sore was gone. Within a day. I've gotten these things for as long as remember, this stuff is magic for me. Makes them much more manageable and not as noticeable when they come up.

I noticed that this product changed a couple of the medications in it, I really like the previous way it was manufactured but this gets the job done.

I was skeptical because it did not contain acyclovir but it actually worked better for me. I would still break out with the old meds. This stuff actually stopped an outbreak just leaving a little soreness and redness. It is clear so it does not leave dried goop on the area applied. Thumbs up.

I lived in Mexico, for 5 years, in the 90's and this was readily available OTC for like $3 a tube, back then. I was SO glad to be able to get it now, in the states!! You apply a thin layer over your fever blister, several times a day and it will be completely gone in just a couple of days!!! This stuff works better than ANY prescription med, I have been given, in the past!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!

The best cold sore medicine on the market I swear! I buy it and keep it in my fridge just in case and have it in all my pieces . I’ve tried Abreva and other experience meds, none of them worked. My Spanish nanny gave it to me once and ever since I only use this type

They have changed the formula and it no longer is any better than any other cold sore treatment.

I tend to get cold sores alot and usually I use abreva but I decided to give this a try. I loved it! It's light and clear unlike abreva that looks like i have tooth paste on my lip. It worked really well and my cold sore was gone by the end of the week.
