Unfortunately the longer shaft failed on first use, it was on a very resistant screw removal and I probably over stressed the piece. The screw finally released after modifying its location to allow access with a solid shaft.

I used it within a couple of hours after receiving it. Worked better than expected due to the price. But I was indeed very impressed.

I gave these to a friend for Father's Day and he was thrilled! For a guy that has every tool ever made and more junk in his garage than anyone ought to, he doesn't have them! He's looking forward to trying them out. For the price, I really expected crap but they're heavy and beefy. Time will tell if they hold up or if he'll ever be able to find them again, out there in all that mess.

Good quality, nice size assortment, and great price

I received the order with three bit extensions. The side that holds the bit has a small magnet at the bottom of the holder (see photo) to prevent the bits from falling off. On one of the extensions (the orange one in the picture) the magnet was not cemented in so when I put a bit in and pulled it out the magnet came out as well. It was easy to cement the magnet in so I am not returning the item but this does bring into question the quality control of the manufacturer. I have used it with a hand ratchet driver and it does work but I am not sure how much torque you can apply to tighten or loosen a stubborn screw.

These work wonders in tight places. My husband is enjoying having them in his tool box!

Pros: Cheap, easy to use.Cons: If you are thinking of using these to apply any torque (even using a screwdriver), forget it about it. I tried, and the whole thing started curling into a spiral (including the plastic housing). I am pretty certain, if I continued, I'd just rip it apart.That said, I bought the set to clean some carbon off valves, so driving a metal wire brush with these extensions should be ok. Driving screws with these, maybe if you pre-drill, and lucky.
