This scooper and pourer really works well with all types of bird feeders as well as various sized openings. Highly recommend this product, comes in handy for sure.

Loved the amount of seed it holds and the ease of the fill handle.

i got it very cheap on amazon and was happily surprised with the quality. it has made my tube shaped squirrel buster feeder very easy to fill with no mess. the scoop holds a good amount so that i can fill the feeder when it is about 3/4 empty. the feeder holds 2.6 pounds so i guess the scoop hold a little less then 2??? it does take two hands to operate, but i do not feel that i a problem. some times i have to jiggle it a little to get it flowing if there are peanuts or larger seeds at the bottom, but it has not clogged for me.

This unit works great for filling my bird feeder. One scoop does it -- feeder is a small one, and the funnel part fits the feeder exactly!I would have liked it to be a little sturdier, but it has been working, so far it has been exceptional for my use.

It easy to use and works well with mixed seeds and sunflower seeds.It’s a tad tricky to hold and slide the door opening lever while holding and it’s a bit gritty in movement but probably gets better with use.

This is a replacement for an old one we've had for 20 years. The old one cracked and was being held together with box tape. This new units slide-to open-disc is tight and works great. I never knew how loose the old one was after such a long time. I've been meaning to replace it for years and have tried other fill scoops at various shops, but I always liked this one best. It will fill a standard tube feeder with one scoop. I may have to get a second one so I don't have to make so many trips back & forth!

I had a scoop that was virtually idential to this one, which I purchased from Wild Birds Unlimited many years ago; that one got lost in my cross-country move. This one seems to have a better "lock" for the funnel when you're using it as a scoop.It came with a separate piece of plastic that is of the same shape and size as the bottom of the scoop, including the hole; I have no earthly idea what it's for. The hole isn't big enough to use it as some sort of stand for the funnel (not that I have any idea why you'd need such a thing), so its purpose is still a mystery. But the scoop works very nicely even in a large bag of rather dense mixed seed, and that's what I was after. I'd be interested to see if anyone knows what the (apparently) extra piece is intended for!

Arrived too late. Too expensive for a piece of plastic. Not what I expected.
