My favorite power bank!
This power bank has been so handy! I let a client use it during a blackout and her family was able to watch dvds together. That made for a much less challenging night with young kids. Easy to read display and two light options were great out camping, too!

Stopped working, no way to contact for replacement/troubleshooting
I've only had this for three years and it's died out of the blue. I've always had it hooked up to my one indoor solar panel where it's propped in a windowsill, so there's been no chance of any damage from the elements. For a while, it worked fine and came in handy during power outages to charge phones and run my CPAP, but now it counts down a charge by 1 percent/second, or displays a charge of 0 after being unplugged, even if it was charged to 100 percent. I've tried to find someone to contact about getting a replacement, or troubleshooting, but no luck. I'm very disappointed, and really in a pickle now that I have nothing else to fall back on in the case of an emergency

I love this charger, it really does the trick and great size. I only instance where I had a phone get hot but not I sure because of phone itself or charger

Ran my CPAP all night camping
This power pack is a great value. I bought it for car camping/boondocking and in anticipation of a cross country trip. I needed something affordable to power my CPAP. I didn't need anything that would last a week off grid, just a night or two. My CPAP is a ResMed Eclipse II also known as the S8 Elite II. I've had it since 2009 and it works fine. So I see no reason to get a new one. I couldn't do the math to determine what would power it so I bought a bunch of different power packs. Can't ever have too many. One was good but only ran the CPAP for an hour. So I gave this a shot and it ran the machine all night. When I woke up refreshed the battery life was still at 54%. Now this is only up to 100W. I tried to plug in my travel one cup kettle which is a 300W and it did not get the water hot enough to boil before shutting off the kettle. So I guess you can say the safety works. Since I wanted this for the CPAP I am extremely pleased it works. It is so small and lightweight. The size is the same size as my napkin holder on the table at home. When I need to power it back up and I am on the road travelling I just plug it into the car cigarette lighter and it charges while driving. It's a fraction of the cost the CPAP approved battery packs are listing at right now and it works just fine. It has a lot of other fancy bells and whistles too light various lights and USB plugs. I have simple needs and this is beyond my dreams. I'd order another one because I love it so much but I don't need another one. If I did get another I know I could connect these together and that's a good option. I strongly recommend.

Keep your internet if the power goes out!
We have a vacation home in a remote location where we lose power every so often. This saves us from being cut off from communication (we have to have Starlink or we can't get a signal). One of our neighbors clued us in on how to keep the internet when the power goes out. We just keep this charged up and plug in the router to this and we are good to go for the time it's out. You can also use it for small items that need to be plugged in and there isn't an outlet close.

It's fine
Why was it shipped with the light on? It arrived with half battery. Considering how long it takes to charge this thing, that is kind of annoying. It takes like 5-6 hours to get a full charge from an outlet.Pretty good for phone charging. Probably better off just getting a portable phone charger though. Anything with more than a few watts is going to chew through the battery really fast.Definitely more of an emergency or supplemental piece. Not something to rely on for consistent power. It just doesn't have the capacity or the capacitance to handle a lot of power demand.Would I like to have it if the power goes out? Yes. Would I rather have a 1000 watt jumper box? Yes. A jumper box is much heavier but it is also 10 times the capacity for wattage and has a battery capacitance that can store enough power to run things for several hours. This product is just a smaller, lighter version of a jumper box with way fewer practical applications. It will not jump your car. It cannot handle lights for a long time. It is basically a heavy portable charger or a lighter jumper box. Is very middle of the road. Has no special reason to be this middle-sized charger/battery thing. It's unnecessarily large for a phone charger and hilariously weak for a general power supply.Pick one.Get a portable charger. Get a jumper box. Skip this item. Those two items will cover everything this item does, but way better.Again, it's not bad. But there are others things that do it better.
