Warm, rich sound in a robust, pro-quality mic – perfect for podcasts and vocal work
Picked this up to use with my Rodecaster Pro 2 for podcasting and vocal recording, and it’s been an absolute gem. The sound quality is excellent – warm, full-bodied, and clean with very little background pickup thanks to the voice isolation. It’s a great alternative to the pricier SM7B if you don’t need USB, and performs beautifully through an XLR interface. The build quality is solid and reassuring – all metal, with a classic design that looks right at home in a professional setup. Set-up was a breeze with my existing mic stand (adapter included), and it worked straight away with no need for extra gain boosters. At this price point, it’s tremendous value – especially if you're looking to kit out a multi-mic setup without compromising on sound. A real workhorse mic with style and substance.

Not a streamer but great quality mic
This microphone is a great budget-friendly option when compared to some of Shures other microphones.I've paired mine with a low desk mounted microphone arm and a GOXLR Mini. This is perfect for discord etc or even streaming if that's your jam. Audio quality is brilliant, build quality feels superb and the microphone itself looks great. Audio clarity seems to be pristine.I have previously bought two blue yeti mircophones over the years and I honestly wish I had just purchased this one instead.Just remember this is an XLR microphone and will require an audio interface like the GOXLR Mini to function.

Fab mic on a reasonable budget
Best mic at this sort of price point. Massively outclassed a USB mic in similar bracket.Crystal clear sound, needs a little bit of gain adding as the noise cancellation and isolation is so good if you're not speaking directly at it then it won't pick you up.Only negative is there is nothing you can physically do with the hardware/settings of the mic itself it is just a plug in and hope it works. There's nothing to tell you the mic is physicslly on.Some small tweaking with software and it's sounding smooth as butter.Seems sturdy, surprisingly light and robust in design

Peefection 🔥
I absolutely love this microphone ! I was testing other mics for around £100 and most of them they were struggling with my lower voice and high bass, but this microphone does the job so well that I just love it ! I know some people are saying ohh SHURE is overpriced get this instead but I can’t agree with that ! For around £70 more I got like 10 times better audio quality 👍🏼 The only thing you have to do is get the new pop filter like me for example as the original one isn’t perfect and you might hear more plosives because of that 🤷🏼♂️

Great sound quality.
After and lengthy time of going through reviews of various other microphones to record ASMR videos, I finally settled for this. Its the best for the price and doesnt produce any background noise. It is a bit limited in what you can do with it but ultimately, its easy to use and set up and will work straight out of the box. I haven't made any modifications to the EQ and it sounds great. The appearance is sleek and fits perfectly in my set up. It doesnt come with a cable so you will need to buy your own. Quality is exceptional for the price. It is compatible with all software that I've used.

SHURE never disappoints!
I'm glad I went for it. Didn't really read much reviews. I paid more attention to the video of those girls singing with the SHURE mics and I loved the sound. I knew this will do my voice the justice we've been seeking for a while now. Exactly what the description of this mic says it does is what it does. I streamed with it on a live tiktok and people who have heard me sing before were amazed and were asking me what mic I'm using. Some said they didn't know I had that flavour in my voice. I myself saw the transformation. Confidence came from nowhere and for the first time, I enjoyed my singing and my live streaming too. Don't get me wrong, I haven't got the best of dynamics but this mic helped showcase my natural voice. NOT even a single feedback. Couldn't believe it. I use a maono soundcard AM200 version. Their mic is terrible. Full of noises and feedback but if you have that soundcard, just replace the mic, you'll be good to go.The mic is a must have if you can. It's quite costly. I got it for £160 but I think it's worth it cos my voice needs this. It brings your vocals to the front. It doesn't have an on and off button but it doesn't matter to me. It doesn't come with cable too. I had to buy my own cable, XLR Female to 3.5mm. Well, my soundcard male thing is 3.5 so I had to get 3.5mm. Check that you don't need 6.35mm tho, that's the cables with the bigger pins, like, double the 3.5mm. I do have a feeling most soundcards are 3.5mm unless you're using yours for guitar 🎸 or keyboard or other instruments like that. The mic comes with a foam too. I had to also buy a stand for it but I'm still looking for a more flexible stand.

Great sounding mic for half the price of the SM7B
Fantastic build quality on this microphone, it feels heavy duty and sturdy when adjusting, and really does have some good weight to it!The sensitivity is perfect for it's dynamic range allowing you to filter out any unwanted background sound without cutting into the quality of your voice. And the best part to me is it's a fraction of the cost of it's older brother the SM7BReally enjoy using this as my main podcast microphone, really versatile and even without a great mixer sounds good right out the box.Really recommend this for someone that is in need of a content creating or podcasting microphone.
