Easily set up, handy to be able to adjust, plenty of wire

This was for something other than its intended use but worked perfectly for what I needed.

These are exactly what they say they are. They’re currently holding up a heavy mirror for me so they’re strong, but they were also easy to slide down to size and attach to the rings on the mirror with the little carabiner type attachments. Once you’ve shorted the wire, I don’t think you can lengthen it again, and don’t forget, you’ll need some kind of wire cutter (we used a tool usually used for trimming guitar strings) to cut away the excess wire.

I was concerned that I might have issues with these. But they are perfect for hanging hex light, which is what I use them for. Very easy to adjust once installed.

Just great overall. Just a suggestion as I couldn't find any information about it: By pulling the cable shorter through the top bit, you won't be able to lengthen it by just doing the opposite. There is a one way mechanism which is in place on purpose, otherwise it wouldn't hold any weight at all. If for whatever reason you need to make the cable longer, you need to release that mechanism by unscrewing that little brass coloured bit that you see in the picture. Remove it carefully as it hold in place a small spring that keeps the mechanism engaged. As the spring extends, untill applies no more pressure, you can feed the cable back down. BE CAREFUL not too remove the spring as the mechanics underneath might come out and fall apart. You can still put it back together but it's made of tiny ball-bearings and if you drop it you won't have a good time trying to find all the parts. Thought might be helpful.

Very easy to install. Screw the small cap onto the object you wish to be suspended, screw the large cap onto the structure to be suspended from. Screw the small, domed, connector onto the small cap. Press the nipple in on the other connector and adjust the length of wire by feeding through. Screw this, to the large cap on the structure

I've used these for hanging paintings, other artwork, and the other typical uses. I've also use it for bundling tools, some boxes, and other unexpected uses. They are fairly durable, easy to use, a good value, and hold tight. I love that they are adjustable, they make some very functional and easy to use anywhere you can think to use them. I've even used them to hang things outside on my fence and they have not let me down well done.

Purchased to hang my aquarium lights. With a use of a drill I was able to attach the base to the strip lights and hang the lights. The metal rope has a rubber finish that helps the light to lock in place and stay secured.
