Compared to the original receiver that came with my gate, the construction and internal components of this one were cheap and flimsy-looking. When I installed it, it would only respond when the transmitter was held very close to the antenna. I ended up getting a new system, but if you need a receiver, I would look for one of better quality.

I replaced the old wireless remote system with this exact same unit. It worked fantasticly for 2 weeks and it stopped working. I turned the power off to the unit and turned it back on and it worked again. 10 minutes later it stopped working again. I need help troubleshooting the problem though I still think this is a great swap.
