Perfect for "nesters."
My dog loves this bed so much that I feel guilty for not finding it sooner! If your dog likes to "nest," this is the bed for them. It is so soft and cushion-y; they can sink right in. It does require periodic fluffing-up (I wash the cover and fluff the insert stuffing every couple of weeks) to keep its shape. My only criticism is that the Sherpa material sheds a bit, but I can't really complain because this bed makes my dog so happy! For size reference, my Boston terrier weighs 22 lbs. (with long legs) and the large is the perfect size for her.

Large bed measures to medium size - twice!
The Large size is listed as 32" x 32" x 32". I measured the size and, to me, this looks like it could be 22" x 22" x 14", which is the size listed on Amazon for the Medium, not the Large. I returned one and received a second - but it was the same (smaller) size. I gave up and returned the second one, too. Not sure if the product is mis-labeled, or mis-selected at the warehouse or if the size listing is just not accurate. In any event, too small for my 22 lb dog!

The product description is very misleading
The product description in the middle of the pages says "18" - up to 15lbs 26" - up to 30lbs 32" - up to 40lbs if the animal sleeps sprawled out: 18" - up to 10lbs 26" - up to 25lbs 32" - up to 35lbs" when you click the option for medium size with all these dimensions 18", 26" and 32". The small size is 18", the medium size is 22" and large is 32" There is nothing that is 26" and it's very misleading because the product description kept referring to 26" instead of 22". I called customer service and they said they can understand and there is no problem, that can be my own problem. Why can't they just say "small is 18" in diameter for pets up to 15 lbs, medium is 22" in diameter for pets up to 30 lbs and large is 32" in diameter for pets up to 40 lbs.

Not made for cats
The bed is actually too fluffy and it doesn't squish down. I bought it for my two cats (neither of which are small), and they both have issues getting into the bed. If they try to approach it from the floor, stepping into it, the bed tilts onto it's side and then turns over. I managed to still make the bed useful by placing it in areas that they can step into it from above. Once the cats are in it, they do love it though. However, had I known it was as high and unstable as it is, I would've gone with a different type. Maybe it's better for dogs? Included is a pic of my cat sliding out of it.

20 PAWS UP! :D
This is a crowd favorite. It's not the most inexpensive dog bed, but I really love the cream color which is hard to find in affordable pet poufs and my two dogs are really into it. I got them a large (pictured) and a small one. The small one is a little small but my dogs still love to balance on top of it and loll their head off the end.I sent one to my dad and stepmom for Christmas (they have three, yes, THREE shih tzu) and apparently their dogs are big fans as well. So if my math is correct, then we give it 20 paws and 2 thumbs up!

Comfy, and has other uses too
I bought a bed that I believe was made by the same company many years ago for my aged Westie. She was 13 at the time, and getting frailer with age, as well as sleeping poorly. When it arrived, it took her a couple days of my positioning her on it and giving her serious good belly rubs until she decided that it wasn't suspicious -- after that, she looked every bit as blissful as the Beagle in the photo. In fact, for the first two weeks, she spent a LOT of time sleeping snuggled on it. I think it was the best night's sleep she'd had in a long time and was making up for lost sleep. After that, her sleep became more normal, but she still loved it's cushioning and warmth. I put the other beds away.I bought this larger size one for my 90 year old mother, however. I used to use the original one as a back pillow for reading in bed, but thought it was a little small for that purpose. Now that my mother is semi-invalid and doctor ordered to keep her feet elevated on the bed a good deal of the time, I bought this larger size for her.She and her caregiver were both rather taken aback that it was a dog bed, but once I explained it all to them, they were both in agreement that if worked admirably as a bed pillow for a human too. I looked at a lot of bed wedges and bed pillows to prop her up, but found nothing that I thought would work as well, and for a lot more money too.I knew that this was washable from past use, and the cover is fairly cozy as well.Once my mother is done with it, there may be a struggle between myself and my current dog as to who gets it.

Perfect for me and my cats!
So glad I found these Sherpa Puff Balls! I got the medium size and they are perfect beds for my two Persian cats (8-10 lbs) and look great in my family room. Finally, I got to toss out the old stained and soiled mat and replace it with something that I can launder. Rudy, my male Persian, tried it out right away but the stuffing threw him off a little bit. I removed and reserved half or more of the stuffing and he curled up on his Puff that very day and took a nap. It's been a couple of weeks and I just added more stuffing back in this morning. 2 hours later, I found him snoozing away on it (see photo). Coco, my female Persian, hasn't come around yet, but she will once it gets cold and she wants to sleep near the fireplace.

Great (minus some stuffing)
I have an 11 lb adult Pomeranian mix. He's been allowed on furniture and in the bed since he was a puppy. In an attempt to wean him from furniture, I got him this dog bed in a small. It shipped quickly, fits him well and is an attractive dog bed. It looks like an over stuffed cushion. For dogs that enjoy destuffing their toys, etc there is a protective mesh layer surrounding the stuffing on the inside of the bed. Both cover and mesh lining are easily removed for cleaning. When it first came in, my dog was not interested. I attribute this to it being relatively tall and unstable when fully stuffed. It was awkward to climb on top of. Like another reviewer suggested, I took out a large percentage of the stuffing to make it more conforming and easier to climb on top. So far, this has worked well for Milo. He climbs on it on his own, burrows a place for himself and almost immediately goes to sleep. The picture below is with a good deal of stuffing removed. (Getting used to it on the couch before we move to the floor). Will update in the next few months as it just came in the mail yesterday.
