Worked well for my 9 year-old!
I wouldn't call this high quality but it actually looked great for the price. Didn't look tacky like some Halloween masks. Size wise, it was perfect for my 9 year old son. Yes you can see the outer part of his cheeks but the kids couldn't care less! All in all, a great purchase.

Good quality for the price
My son loves Jason, so I got him this mask to play with. For the price it's really good quality and has a nice "worn" look to it. It is a little on the small side, definitely for kids, not adults.

Great look. Girl's have to get creative with their hair for this to work.
I bought this for my 9yr old daughter to wear for Halloween. She was so excited to be Jason. This mask looks great, and was the right size for her face. The eye's lined up just right. It's actually pretty well made. You won't have any issues if buying for a boy or any child with really short hair like a buzz cut. 5 stars if that's who you're buying for. Now, for kiddos with longer hair:My daughter's excitment when opening quickly changed to being really upset as soon as she put the mask on. Her hair was down and the elastic on the back of the mask wouldn't stay down flat on her hair. It did technically stay on her face, but the back elastic scrunched her hair up to the top of her head and looked crazy. It actually pulled on her hair as soon as she'd put it on and let go. Right away I just pulled her hair back in a low pony just to see if it'd help because I was worried I'd have restart my search. It helped some, but it still pulled her hair up some. It would have been manageable for a short time this way. The back straps are made to wear you can't just wear a regular high ponytail to help keep it on. The elastic strap connects to the mask at the tip and goes down the center of the head in the back, so I got creative since I wanted this to work. I parted her hair in the center and put her hair in two little bun like pigtails up high, and this made the mask a PERFECT FIT! It stayed down and she was able to wear it comfortably throughout the whole tricker treat night and into the following days to play with her friends. I want to give this 5 stars if she was able to grab and go, because she wanted to be able to grab this to play whenever she wanted, but now she'll have to sit and let me do her hair before being able to wear it comfortably. When her hair was down it would also pull her hair when taking it off where the metal buttons connect the elastic to the mask. She didn't have any problems with this hair style, tho. I will try to get pictures of her with her hair down to show what I mean. As long as you are okay with doing this hairstyle or something similar, I would look for a completely different style mask in the back. I would repurchase this because it was a good value, is made well, and really looked great once we figured out how to make it work for a girl. And honestly, most of these Jason masks are made this way, so I really can't hold that against the mask. It would be great if it just had a strap going horizontally from side to side and nothing up top. I hope our experience and pictures help you see what to expect in person.
