This is a kickass stick for a 12-yr old. It's red and its got RIPPER printed on the shaft -- what else a 12-yr old wants? And yes, I got this for my daughter.

Good quality junior sticks and affordable
Two kids playing hockey and equipment can get very expensive. Since they are still young and growing the Franklin sports equipment has saved us some serious money on hockey equipment that we can use toward the skates. The junior hockey sticks are nice quality and we have two of them. One is the 42” left shot and a 55” right shot. The kids are both right handed but one is definitely a left shot hockey player and the other is yet to be determined.

Small and flimsy
This is just a simple rather cheap play time type of hockey stick. I definitely wouldn’t attempt to use this with real hockey pucks.This is intended for young kids maybe 6-9 years old who want to play indoors with a foam ball and small net.For that purpose it works great.My only reason for rating it 4 stars is because it feels so blasted cheap.Just not overly impressed.

Nice quality hockey stick
We’re a hockey family- my husband, son, and daughter play on competitive teams. Our youngest, who’s 4, has recently expressed interest in following in their footsteps and shoots around and stick handles in our driveway and in the basement. This stick is perfect for a beginner who wants the feel and function of a composite stick, without the price tag of a Bauer, CCM, or Warrior. The stick should be about nose height, and we had to cut this down slightly to be the proper height for my daughter, but it was very easy. She lives the lime green and feels like one of the big kids now.
