Worked great to put a nose stud in!
This saved my life!!!..I have been wearing the same nose ring for years.. one day I accidentally somehow pulled it out of my nose..I have never used this tool before and I don’t really like to change my jewelry, but I was so desperate to get a ring back in there so the hole wouldn’t close..I went to a shop to get a new ring put in and the lady said my piercing was a 20 gauge so she didn’t have the jewelry for it(I was young when I got it so I didn’t really know what gauge it was) had me looking all over town for 20 gauge jewelry.. come to find out, it was 18 gauge and she didn’t know what she was doing.. thank goodness the hole didn’t shrink after I put a 20 gauge retainer in that I found at Walmart. I finally looked some rings up on Amazon and just decided to try out an 18 gauge since it’s damn near impossible to find 20 gauge. They fit but I couldn’t get the bottom part up into my nose because I just couldn’t see where the hole was. Thanks to another reviewer, I put some ointment on this tool and it literally slid in like butter. It didn’t screw into my jewelry but I just kind held them together and was able to still use it to guid the stud in and through. Definitely recommend if you’re trying to change your jewelry.

Wrong sizes given. Not true to the gauge they say they are
These are not sized correctly. I bought a 14g and was either sent a 12g or they have bad quality control. I know the size of my jewelry very well and buy and get pierced by the best in my area.I unfortunately had my nipple ring fall out, I've had it three years however I could not get the bar back in. So I bought the 14g taper, as that is the size of my jewelry however the jewelry I had was swallowed by the taper. My jewelry did not sit flush or even just a little off it was completely able to be seated into the threading area without being threaded in. Not cool !So I bought the 16g one and the 16g compared to the 14g is hugely different, so either the 16g is off (which wouldn't surprise me) or the 14g is off. My guess is on the 14g because the pain I got trying to insert it was way way way worse then it should have been and the 16g slipped in to easily, luckily I had some 16g jewelry so I at least got that in so I can hopefully find an actual 14g taper to put in the proper jewelry as 16g is too small for a nipple.I'd go to the piercer however with the whole covid-19 pandemic i can't get in there. These have bad quality control regarding sizing so buy at your own risk.

Overall good but jewellery doesn't thread into it
I wanted a way to get threaded earrings into my second earlobe piercing. All the threaded jewelry is 18g-16g at the smallest and my piercing holes were very tight (only 20g would fit through). I used this taper to stretch my piercing hole and help insert my new jewelry. I had to go VERY slow and used steam plus lubricant during the process, which took about 3 hours for each ear (as I stopped any time I felt pain and let it sit a bit). It got the job done and I'll continue using it any time I need to change the jewelry on my left ear, which is not pierced straight making inserting jewelry on that side difficult anyways. One thing to note is that I thought I'd be able to screw the jewelry into the taper but that is not the case. The very tip of the large end is hollowed so it sets into it very slightly but doesn't stay secure and the threaded end of the jewelry remains exposed during insertion. Overall good product that did what I needed it to do. Only thing that would make it better is if I could screw my jewelry into the end so the threading doesn't aggreviate the piercing hole during insertion.

If squeamish or need to change out sore nipple posts. Well worth the money! Nipple 14g !❤️
Okay a must have if nipples pierced. I bought the threaded and non threaded version. WORTH IT!!! Just buy both 14 g bars. The original posts I had were internal thread.( the ball had threads on it )You take one end off piercing screw bar into ( wet with salt water ) your piercing bar and slowly pull until this bar is in the piercing hole. Take off stud piercing. ( you now just have a bar in hole )Most others piercings have external threads.Take the other bar that has hole in end put over threads on the bar that is in piercing ( wet ) push back through. (You are just using the 2 bars you bought to pass through opening ) Now you have an bar with an end with an internal hole in piercing.Take one end off external thread (new nipple piercing) stick threads in spacer hole ( wet ) push new piercing threw. ( so you have new piercing with one end off going back into space)Screw on end. ( done ) new piercing in. 🎉Sound like a lot its NOT. If your at all nervous about changing piercings or have sensitive or sore piercings this method is a god send. Because pushing something with threads through a piercing that is under a year . Ummm can be uncomfortable. This takes all that away. Just make sure to wet with salt water or I used peroxide so I could clean before putting away old and cleaning bars.I’m squish so I use this way any time I change. If I can do it . You can too!

Not really used as directed.
Used to hold the place and make it easy to change my nipple rings it is perfect just work the small end of taper in to piercing hole when changing out jewelry and pull through inserting new jewelry through immediately following. I dont try to screw my jewelry in to the taper but pull the large end till the very end over the piercing hole and before the taper leaves my nipple piercing whole begin to push the new jewelry in. Sorta like a conga line. Gave one less star because it fell in to my lube now have to buy a new one. And lost my other on wish it would have came in a bag.

I bought every size - internally threaded fits
I bought every size of this at once based off of the reviews. Here’s what I found out.The two tapers for externally threaded jewelry will NOT screw onto your externally threaded jewelry. I tried jewelry for every band including wildclass. This is a no go for 16 and 14 gauge. The taper for internally threaded jewelry screws onto jewelry just fine!! If this is what you’re after you are in luck!!No, you will not be able to buy the 14 gauge externally threaded version and shove your 16 gauge jewelry in the end for easier insertion. This was my game plan and it did not work out. Womp womp
