The product itself appears well made. But the description of the product says the threads are 5/16"-18, which are quite common and would fit my DCS spit rod. In fact, when the handle would not fit my DCS spit rod, I took the handle to a hardware store and used the thread gauges there to match it as 3/8"-16. I really did not want to go to the trouble of returning it so I looked for a 3/8"-16 to 5/8"-18 adaptor/bushing at the auto parts store and Home Depot, but am unable to find an easy solution. Looks like I will need to send this back and look for a more "universal" handle.
