TRUPER BC-12M 12" Professional Bit Brace

Traditional 2 jaw chuck carpenter’s brace. Chuck not universal. Will only accept square tapered shank auger bits. Very high quality carpenters brace manufactured in Taiwan. Ball bearing race to end handle making it very smooth during use. Will only accept square tapered shank auger bits. My set has screw nose bits which are self-feeding & require no forward force during drilling. So, it costs as much as a cheap cordless drill. The bits are not cheap but can be re-sharpened with a 3 square file. My auger bits are very old & imperial not metric sizes. Very satisfying to use hand tools that still work!I'm a carpenter joiner by trade. The apprentice carpenters are amused but do like it after I let them use it.
