Loved everything about this organic tanner. From the amazing smell, the easiest application I’ve ever experienced, and the beautiful bronzed glow I got the day after applying. I’ve tried many self tanners and I like that this is a lotion. The lotion is not bronzed (which I also like) it comes out like a white lotion and is very moisturizing! I applied this to my whole body in 10 minutes or less. I use medical gloves to apply Bc I find it saves on product & is easier to apply. The dry time was about 5 minutes which is also key to a wonderful self tanner. I will say I used about half the bottle just on one application. So keep that in mind for the price point! Overall super satisfied with this tanner, I will buy again and keep using to get that natural bronzed glow :)

I have tried many sunless tanners and I have had some success and many fails. When I read about Botanic Tree I was curious to try the product. It was delighted the product came with an exfoliating scrub and I didn't have to buy it separately. The first time I used the scrub that alone was worth the price. When I used the sunless tanner for the first time I wasn't sure what to expect as the product goes on extremely white. Within a few hours I could see the results. The second day I used the product I honestly looked as though I had a natural tan. I am very fair so the slightest color is apparent. I am very happy with Botanic Tree. The scent is light and is not offensive like most tanners. The price is very good for what you get and the results last many days before you need to reapply. I am extremely happy to found Botanic Tree.

All around, not bad. Lotion is on the thicker side and does take a bit of intention to work into skin. But the feel & scent is lovely!! My complaints if you will ... I applied at bedtime, my fingers & hands were orange the morning after application! I washed my hands thoroughly immediately after I applied the product. The second time I tried it, I washed my hands before I got more lotion to apply to another area and I still woke up with orange hands! Lesson learned- Do not use with out an application glove! I have an olive skin tone and I felt that I had an all over orange glow for about the first 24 hours. By the 2nd day the color was nice, although not as dark as I would like. By the 5th day, color was gone. I won’t be buying this one again.

This product does what it promises. I am naturally pale, but tan well enough. However, I bought this product to correct a serious farmers tan that was beyond evening out the normal way. I have had this product for about a week, and have used it 5 times. It hasn't completely evened it out yet, but it is noticeably better. The color is natural and comes out as more golden on me, but it seems to blend well enough with my existing tan without looking obvious. I like that the product looks like a normal colorless cream when applying, and the tan appears later. The only downside that I have found is that it is difficult to tell if the lotion is blended in everywhere, especially if it isn't applied all over the body. Though this stuff works well enough that another application the next day was able to cover any smudged or darker spots one me. So, overall this product does provide a natural golden tan that can be built upon, it doesn't smell very strong, and absorbs quickly without staining clothes. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is trying to start a tan, or anyone trying to even out a farmers tan (just be aware that it will take time, and several applications).

This is by far my favorite self-tanner! I’ve tried so many brands, from Bondi Sands to Tanologist, and nothing compares. It smells amazing, dries quickly, and doesn’t leave that sticky feeling most tanners do. Best of all, my skin stays even—no speckled patches after a few days like I experienced with Tanologist. Instead, my skin looks hydrated, smooth, and beautifully bronzed.

I’ve ordered this sunless tan a few times because of the quality of ingredients. My most recent purchase had a completely different smell than the previous products. It was a very strong synthetic parfumerie/cologne smell that instantly gave me a headache. I still had my previous bottle and when I compared the smells the difference was stark. Against my better judgement I still applied the lotion when my previous bottle ran out. My skin reacted poorly; skin on my face became flakey and dry despite copious amounts of moisturizer. Certain parts of skin on my body became inflamed and formed rashes of pimples. And the smell continued to linger, it made my throat coarse and gave me a continuous headache. A recent review showed the ingredients on the new packaging compared to the previous packaging. They have completely changed the formula; no longer organic and now includes fragrance. I mistakenly received two bottles with this order, both with the older packaging. I assume they have extra bottles they need to get rid of & are filling with the new formula without noting the ingredient changes. This is potentially VERY DANGEROUS for people with allergies to synthetic ingredients and/or ingredients in the new formula not listed on the old bottles. Dissapointing, I thought I had finally found a good organic self tan and I’m frustrated I paid more than I typically would for a sunless tanner because I thought I was getting a product with quality ingredients. Instead I got swindled and rashy. I will be trying CleanTan black tea drops, hopefully with better luck.
