This has been a real help in our home.
This is a great product. Elderly father-in-law lives with us. He is a high fall risk and has dementia. Wanted something that would alert us when he sat up on the edge of his bed in the night before trying to stand and walk to the bathroom. We put it on the floor under his bed. It worked perfect. The alarm part is portable so my husband sleeps with it by his night stand. It has adjustable volume level so you can set it for whether you are a light or heavy sleeper to wake you up at the first movement of patient. Also, because it is portable when his Dad lays down in the afternoon my husband brings it with him to the living room while he watches TV so he is always aware of what his Dad is up to. The only modification I made to the motion detector for our use was that the visual area was wide so even after my husband got his Dad up it would continue to detect motion when they got out of the room and into the hall. Because my father-in-law moves slowly the alarm would go off numerous times. By putting a piece of masking tape over the lens on the area on the side by the hall I was able to restrict the motion pick up to the area where he put his feet over the bed and once my husband was helping him toward the hall the alarm would stop. Also, nice is there are many choices for alarm sounds/songs.

Easy to use
So far I’m very pleased w this. It’s super easy to set up, it’s factory paired and is a breeze. Depending on your needs you can use one or two motion sensors. Batteries are included for both motion sensors and the alert/pager.Per the directions it looks like the motion sensors should be mounted on something, but I set mine on the floor under/near the bed to catch any feet that touch down, or movement of the walker (one sensor is facing out from under the bed and the other is just outside the edge of the bed -perpendicular to the bed frame. Between the two of them making an ‘L’ shape I should catch any movement. My mom typically won’t get out of bed on her own and has been alerting us that she needs to get up by shaking her walker; however, there have been two times that she has been confused and did get up on her own. All it takes is one fall and I didn’t want to chance it again.I opted for this over the motion sensing floor mat because she keeps her walker right next to the bed where a mat would lay and the walker would be setting off the mat all night. The motion alert bed sensor that goes on top of the mattress isn’t what she needs either. The alarm is very loud and very bright. Even on the lowest volume it’s pretty loud and would probably wake up a heavy sleeper. I don’t mind this because the last thing I want to do I sleep through it. Both the light and sound options can be used independently or together. I’m using the Für Elise alarm setting and the red/blue lights on the lowest volume. It’s not abrasive, but def loud enough I’ll wake up. The motion sensors seem to be working very good w the way they’re set up. I may mount the one under the bed to the frame, but haven’t decided it. Anyways, so far this has been reliable even though I haven’t been using long. I should note I also have nest cams set up, but these are to keep an eye on everything else. I have motion alerts turned off on these at night because id just sleep though any phone notification I’d receive anyways lol

Worth every Penny
Bought this to use for my dad who is now in a hospital bed. Due to having several falls, we make sure someone is with him around the clock, this allows us to be able to do things in the house without having to stay in the same room while he is sleeping. The alarm sounds and gives us plenty of time to get to him before he tries to stand up. Also has been a great alarm to allow us to sleep without the fear of him getting up in the middle of the night and falling without us knowing he is even up.

Works Well but....
My wife has Alzheimers and sleeps in a separate room. She tends to get up 3 or 4 times during the night to use the restroom or just wander the house. I purchased this to wake me up when she gets out of bed so I can keep here from wandering out of the house without me knowing. The unit was very easy to set up and install. I screwed the transmitter onto a piece of 2 x 6 and set it on the bottom bookshelf beside her bed. The receiver sits on the nightstand next to my bed or I carry it around the house with me wherever I go, even outside on the patio. It works well everywhere in our single-story house, the range appears great. The receiver unit is very loud, and that is my only negative. I wish the volume could be stepped down lower than the lowest setting provided. Even on the lowest volume setting, when I am in a deep sleep and it goes off, you just about have to scrape me off the ceiling. It is way too loud for me and I am hard of hearing. I have prior electronics training and experience, so after the warranty runs out, I may open it up and install a volume control potentiometer so that I can turn the volume down below heart attack levels. The receiver also has very bright LED's on it that flash a multicolored strobe along with the audio alarm. They are very bright and light up my room like a five alarm fire scene. I'll tell you, with the combination of the bright LED's and the loud alarm, there is zero chance it won't wake you and the entire household up.Another small issue I have is that the width of the transmitter detection beam is pretty wide. At first I set the transmitter on the bottom shelf of a bookcase right adjacent to where my wife would get out of bed. The problem is that when she first gets up, she stands there for a while looking for her glasses and all the while the alarm keeps going on and off and on and off and on and off. So I moved the transmitter down towards the foot of the bed. This way it won't go off until she gets up, does her searching, gets her glasses on and then walks past the end of the bed. But still the beam width is pretty wide. I wish it were adjustable or if they could put adjustable blinders around the sensor so the beamwidth can be adjusted. I had to fabricate my own little cardboard blinders to limit the beam width to about a 3 feet wide detection zone.Pros: Wireless works very well, the range is great, the alarm is loud, LED's are bright, lots of alarm tones to select, a good value overall, works well for my application.Cons: Too loud for me even on the lowest setting - wakes up the whole house. I wish it had a continuous volume adjustment from max all the way down to zero, transmitter beam width is not adjustable and is pretty wide.

Great product for the price. Was using the bed alarm from another company it was waking me up with every move. This product worked so much better! Easy set up. Very happy with the product.
