It works. BUT You don't get the tactile feedback of a beater making contact with a surface, pad or head. You also don't get the feel of a firmly closed hi-hat. They are however, fairly robust and appear to be able to hold up over the long term. I decided one thing after playing for a few days using these. If you want to go this route with any headless pedal you have to adapt some new playing techniques.

I have no idea but I know the petals I purchased worked perfectly on the HXW PD705 Percussion Pad 9-Trigger Sample Pad

Hi, this pedal is designed for PD705 Percussion Pad, there is no promise for other devices.

I am not sure if it would work on Yamaha products. I would almost no, it won't work. But if you are using as a kick pedal, I didn't like the "action" of it. Hope that makes sense.
