Price is right for the Product.
The technical assistance by manufacturer was very good, resolved the initial issue with oil resetting function, they connected directly to my scanner and fix the programming issue. The advantage of this product is that it has wireless internet connection, that allow Technical Support to manage remotely the scanner, connected to the vehicle to test and resolve the problem. The disadvantage is that the Company is located in China where there is a huge time difference with my location in the West Coast, 15 hours ahead for them, nevertheless it worked out good communicating via emails. Overall I think it is a good product.

Great Product and Prompt Tech Support
I purchased a Foxwell NT809 when I had an immediate need to do the rear brakes on our Audi Q3. The NT809 advertised the electronic parking brake (EPB) functionality to wind back the motors, allow brake pad replacement, and reset the motors again.Upon receiving the unit, I registered it and did all of the updates. I then attempted to execute the EPB function. While the NT809 connected to the Audi Q3 and was able to run diagnostics, it was giving a connectivity error when attempting the EPB function. I contacted Foxwell support and Christine promptly replied to my email asking for the serial number of the NT809 that I purchased and the VIN number of our car. I sent this information before going to bed that evening. I woke up to an email from Christine recommending that I open the hood of my Audi and try the EPB function again. It turns out that opening the hood on an Audi puts the car into service mode so that it can accept external commands from the NT809. While this may be common knowledge for dealerships or professional mechanics, I have never opened the hood to do a rear brake job :-) The prompt and useful support that Christine and the Foxwell technical support team provided solved my problem and allowed everything to go smoothly.I also want to mention that the NT809 is a great unit and very easy to use. I have really enjoyed working with it on both our 2020 Audi Q3 and my Subaru STI. Certainly recommend this for anyone who wants to work on their own vehicles.

Foxwell scanner. For the unprofessional it's does well.
To be judging this product so early Is a bit unfair. I purchased this scanner for my Daughter. I'm a professional Auto Technician. My daughter live over 1500 miles away from dad. I don't trust the part stores to not sell her something she doesn't need. She calls dad first. I need to have accurate data to be able to direct her next move. So after playing with thus on my own car. Data from different modules she needs to read and easy of access. Just like any scanner, there us a learning curve. The data refresh rate is fast. There is a graphing mode which I use a lot. Not sure if that is fast enough but it's there. The tutorial in the code section looks great so far. Code deception does and don't are spelled out here. Like leave this to the professional or not. I think is very valuable to the un professional DIYr. The code read and data access she needs to have at her disposal and not yo some parts store that's willing to sell a cheap part or mislead her. I've seen where a customer replaced a perfectly good part for a lesser quality part and created more than one problem in doing so. So far I think this will become a very valuable tool in her own tool box.

Some supported features are only half baked - Update at end
I bought this to help with a few main functions on my vehicles. Mainly electronic parking brake (EPB) maintenance when replacing brake pads and ABS bleeding. I contacted support before purchasing the scanner and received a response overnight, which was promising. Here are the vehicles and what their response was for the requested features. Please make sure to read on04 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ - ABS Bleed12 Jeep Compass - ABS Bleed18 Subaru Outback - EPB maintenance18 Volvo XC90 - ABS bleed and EPB maintenanceOn the 2018 Subaru Outback it was able to put the EPB in maintenance mode. You could hear it retract. Now here is the kicker. There is no menu option to take the vehicle out of maintenance mode. ABS, Eyesight, parking brake, are ALL unavailable until the car is taken out of maintenance mode. Dash was lit up like a Christmas tree. The scanner is able to scan and tell you that it is in maintenance mode, great. Pulling the battery, clearing codes, nothing worked. Looked on Google and found other with Foxwell scanners and Subraru vehicles in the same place going back as far as a year ago. I had to take it to a shop and pay them to get the vehicle back in working orderWhen connecting the scanner to 04 WJ it would not pull the VIN and upon manually entering the VIN I was only presented with an option for an 04 WK, there was no 04 WK as that was a newer model Grand Cherokee that came out in 2005. ABS bleed showed as unavailable for that vehicle. So much for checking the compatibility first. The 2012 Jeep Compass and 2018 Volvo XC90 were a whole different story. Every function that was listed as supported for these vehicles worked. After 4 days of waiting on support for help with the Subaru they responded asking for capture files ?? There’s no option for that that I can find on the scanner and no instructions were provided. In the end , I returned the device as I now had to cover a shop bill on the Subaru due to this scanner. I will just never be comfortable with it again in fear that it will activate a test that can't be backed out or worse, make a change that causes damage.Update 2/5/2023 The seller did read this review and reached out. They felt bad about the out of pocket expense that was incurred by having to pay a shop to take the Subaru out of maintenance mode. They provided Amazon gift cards to cover the cost of the shop visit. I'm bumping the review up 1 star as the follow up and customer service went above and beyond what most resellers would do.
