I have tried other posture correcting harnesses that I didn’t really care for, but this one really does a great job for me. As it says in the instructions, it’s not meant to pull your shoulders back in a violent traction type of way, it’s just there to have enough pull/tug on your shoulders to —remind— you yourself to straighten up your posture, so as that, it works perfectly, and as a softer approach result, it doesn’t cause any undue muscle-shock distress that your body is not used to, as had happened to me it the past. “Less in more” is the fix, slow and steady wins the race. And consistency is the key word here. You cannot —force— your way into good posture overnight. It took years for you to —gradually develop poor posture and get stuck in that position, so it is going to take some time with consistency to retrain your body into being naturally comfortable standing up straight and tall (again). Years of working in front of a computer froze up my back muscle into that hunched C-spine shape, so slow and steady, “less is more” wins this race… 🐢 Consistency. 🤩

This back brace is the best I've ever owned, in regards to comfort, support, and value. With that being said, it still has its issues. Every other back brace I've ever owned never stays in its intended position and rides up, without fail, at some point during use. This is no exception. Because of this, you would think that companies would manufacture them with comfortable straps that string between the legs or something just to help keep them in position like they do with the shoulder straps. In this day and age, it shouldn't be an upgrade, but standard, in my honest opinion. Next century, I guess. For best application, I have found that by putting on an undershirt, then the belt (initially just holding the brace, and my shirt, in position), laying down on a bed, sucking in my belly as much as possible, THEN closing the belt as tight as I can, standing up, THEN pulling the shoulder straps as tight as possible and securing them in place as low on the belt as possible, is the best way to put/keep this brace in the proper position. Again, it will need adjustment after movement, but they always do - especially without leg straps. I know I'm going to have issues later on with the material of the shoulder straps, too, as they are already showing signs of stretching after a few uses. I have knee and other straps with the same cheap, stretchy material. This can be fixed later on by sewing a nylon strap to them once they become useless, but that shouldn't be our job. The band around the waist and the supports up the back should all be fine throughout the life of the belt, from what I can tell anyway. Lastly, I'm 5'4" and 154 lbs and purchased a large because of reviewers complaining it's too short. This size fits me perfectly. All-in-all, I would recommend this belt, but only with these suggestions to be aware of.

My physical therapist suggested this exact model. They had one in the clinic, and I was able to try it on. Immediate improvement. For those who say that it's hard to put on, it's not! The shoulder straps need to be crossed and attached to the waist part first (not dangling). Then you just put it on like a backpack. The company has a YouTube video that will show you. My brace came with a QR code that takes you to it, or just put the company name and product in the YT search bar. I'll update if it doesn't last too long, but for the price, I'm sure I'll just get another one.

The support provided is insufficient, and the brace fails to encourage the development of muscle memory for better posture, ultimately rendering its primary function ineffective. Additionally, the brace is visibly bulky under clothing, making it impractical to wear discreetly, especially in professional or formal settings. The lack of a streamlined design compromises its usability, limiting its appeal for those seeking a more inconspicuous solution for posture correction. Furthermore, the durability of the Back Brace Posture Corrector is questionable. The stitching has shown signs of wear after minimal use, suggesting that it may not withstand regular wear and tear, especially for those looking for a long-term solution to their posture issues. Overall, the Back Brace Posture Corrector for Men and Women fails to deliver on its promises of comfort, adjustability, and effective posture correction. Its subpar materials, lack of breathability, and insufficient support make it an impractical and uncomfortable choice for those seeking a reliable and durable solution for their posture-related concerns.

I had to send this back. It hurt my damaged shoulder by pressure in the wrong spot

Fits well. Shoulder straps tend to curl but added clasp can keep them straight. I wear for about 3 hours daily (max recommended) but unfortunately haven't seen any benefit after about 3 weeks. I do have other back issues so that may be why. Otherwise seems to help keep my shoulders back.
