Great so far.. it charged relatively quickly, and the LCD display blinks whilst charging until the battery is full - which is very helpful. I’ve used it for a few days now and so far it works perfectly.. the display is there.For £20, assuming this lasts.. this is very good value for money. It counts down the time consistently and well and works as it should. I’ve previously had those timed lock boxes.. but they’re always flimsy and cheap, and break very easily. A timed padlock may be the way round this.As another reviewer said, emergency unlock is the 2 side buttons held together for 10 seconds. But you only get three of these during padlock’s entire life. I’ve used one of my attempts to check and it does work.I’ve not tried to use force to test the padlock.. as I like having it working, but it seems robust enough. If you want to get through this thing, you will manage with the right tool. But bare-handed? I’m not convinced.I will certainly update this review if anything changes, but so far so good. Innovative and well-designed.

Electronic function works well. Very thin hasp though and not sure how it would stand up to even a good tug. Ok for light indoor use.

I suffer from chronic pain so as well as tramadol taken on a regular basis I also take co-dydramol at irregular intervals including during the night but obviously I must space that drug at a minimum of 4 hours between doses. So this padlock is my answer. I padlock my tablet container after taking a dose so that it won’t open again for another 4 hours. I don’t need to remember exactly when I took a dose, even during the night.Further more it is a well made lock. ( there is an override sequence which I avoid memorising!)There are many uses including locking away you children’s electronic time wasters at suitable times or putting a lock on you secret supply of chocolate to prevent overindulgence-by you!

Thick padlock shank in all metal construction.That is, the metal hoop is about 5mm thick, so it is only suitable for heavy use.
