I love this thing to do my homework on the couch and holds everything I need. Definitely worth the money

This is the right height. It is thick enough you won't feel the heat of your computer on your lap. It has a place for your pen and another place to have your phone. And a pad to place your mouse. It is wide enough for the larger laptop (which I have).I have bought many styles and this is by far the top of the line for functionality.

I had a lap tray this size and similar before this, but the mouse pad was worn out. And this one has the solid thick cloth padding that is solid under it and sits higher in your lap, with the option to fold the middle part of the padding onto the backpadding to make it taller to lift your laptop even higher. I did try that but I did not like how it was so much of an angle then and it seemed to slide more to the left and right when I would move or shift my legs, so I have ended up just keeping it flat, but I do like the option to be able to make it taller if I want. The bottom padding top hold the laptop from sliding down is great for the laptop, but for the mouse part, it is too tall (even as it is all the same size) because your wrist sitting on it starts to get tired. If I decide to keep this, which I am almost certain I am going to as I really like it, what I think I will eventually do is take a knife to the side and pull some of the padding out to make the part below the mouse lower. As my wrist gets sore resting on that pad when sitting in my chair. The part to hold your phone does old it, but it does not work as well as my old tray. The angle or space is such that my phone sits odd in it, not like on my old tray where it sits perfect and I can see my phone screen easy. This one the screen rests more forward and looks odd, but it does hold it. The bottom solid foam parts is great, because unlike my other tray that just had it at the front and back and was more like bean bags, this being solid it helps to spread the space and weight on your legs. It works really good that way I think. This was a bit pricey, but I got it on sale so it was not as bad, but it is certainly towards the higher priced ones I was looking at, but it does work for what I wanted.

This is going to help me so much! Really worth the money and appears to be made well. It will hold my iPhone 13 Pro easily, my 15.6” Lenovo ThinkPad, my mouse has a nice home now and the padding on the back seems to be a durable foam that gives enough but not too much when on the lap. The magnets are a nice feature, so there’s no wear and tear with snaps or buttons. The extra lift on the angle it creates is perfect. Very pleased with this purchase so far!

Having tried a few of these laptop "desks", this is the only one I've found that isn't rickety. In fact, it's quite perfect, allowing me to use my laptop while sitting on a chair, in a recliner, and even lying down (with my knees up to raise the screen a bit). The fact that it relies on a clever folding cushion instead of spindly legs is what makes this perfect. This product, plus a good pair of computer-prescription glasses, and I'm set for a positive ergonomic experience, where the key is to be able to change my position every hour or two, and still be able to work in comfort.(I know the hip thing these days is to work standing up. Good for those people. :) Not me, I'd rather be comfortable if I have to work! )The ONLY negative thing -- and I honestly don't know how this could be solved for, but I'm bringing it up for completeness -- is that when the surface is tilted (which is the point), of course a standard wireless mouse will always slide down the mouse pad toward the wrist pad. No biggy... I just use the laptop's touch-pad for moving the pointer, and don't try to use a mouse with this product.Again, this is the only one of these kinds of products I've found to work. There may be others, but this is the only one I've found. The foldable cushion underneath, which allows you to work at different heights, and the wrist cushion are just perfect. And it even comes with a nice handle for convenient carrying from room to room.For me, the solution to ergonomic work is to not get stuck in any one position for too long. This product allows me to move around and change my position for comfortable working. So glad I found it.

I sit on the couch and work a lot on my laptop. Wish I had this years ago. The quality is good, versatile height levels, and perfect size. My only complaints are the slot for my phone should lean back, it leans forward, and my mouse slides down when not in use. But neither of those are stopping me from 5 stars. Glad I purchased this.

I use this on the sofa and in bed. I use a surface pro that's able to stand pretty solid. Really enjoy the mouse pad. The design looks very smart too.

Keeps my laptop (AND legs!) cool while working in bed. I especially like the area for a mouse. I don't use a mouse but I do put my phone there.

A very good lapdesk, only problem I experience it is too expensive and the cell phone holder could be a little deeper.
