the one i ordered previously is not working , i thought this is cheap and best but no it's not, also there is no option if refund I can't opt for other products need replacement but not sure if replacement will be compatible.

Nice, cheap DVDRW drive
This is a great little optical drive, if you're still using CDs and DVDs these days you can't go wrong with this drive. The price is unbeatable, it's sleek and nice looking (I like the brushed look across the top) and operates perfectly. A single USB port is all you need unlike the ole' days where an external optical drive needed two. The cable is attached and tucked in on the bottom and I actually like that, one less cable to worry about. My unit includes the TSST TS-L632H optical drive which supports 24x CD Read/Write, 8x DVD Read/Write respectively. Overall, a very worthwhile, low-cost optical drive.

Great addition for laptop
I was disappointed when I found that the new laptop I got didn't have a CD drive built in (guess that how they make them thinner and lighter). So, I got this external drive and it works great. Truly "plug and play" device. And it's small enough to tuck in my tote bag with the laptop.

Light weight and small ish
It's super light and the cord fits perfectly into the plastic shell to take up less space. It's made of cheap ish plastic but I don't mind. I unfortunately managed to dig up my DVD player after ordering this so it hasn't gotten much use but it'll be great if I ever travel or I can give it to a friend.

Not recognized and won't open, but works well as a paperweight
I bought this a couple of months ago for use on my desktop, which does not have a bay for a normal DVD drive. This one lights up, but that's about all. Windows won't recognize it, with the "this device has malfunctioned" warning from Windows 10. Additionally, the button to open the drive does nothing. I tried the manual eject option with a paperclip, but that didn't work either until I pulled the face off the drive. After that, the manual eject worked fine, but the button itself still does not. So I basically threw money away on what is essentially a coaster.
