This will be my second time buying these. For the money they are awesome! First set lasted about 2 years of absolute abuse, with 33/12.5 tires on my 96 Cherokee. They are both knurled and come with a C-clip for the lower if the holes are a little loose. Would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a decent product without spending an arm and a leg.

These ball joints are sturdy as heck. I also like that they are re-greaseable. Didn’t end up needing the clip rings or threaded inserts. Those must be for older Jeeps or different applications altogether. The included grease zerks are on the cheap side, though. I’m not sure if it was my cheap grease gun or one of the zerks, but one of them got stuck in the grease gun nozzle and I could not remove it. Had to unscrew the zerk stuck to the nozzle. That was fun. I’d recommend having an assortment of good zerks on hand and use those instead of the provided units. Not worth taking off a star, but just be aware.

I really like the 1-3 day free shipping and the fact that all of my parts were correct and on time. As far as the quality goes I had previously bought a single tie rod end just for quality testing.i could not break with 20 ton press, my grinder had a tough time cutting through it and when I tested the threads I placed a grade 8 lock nut on the tie rod and tightened it as tight as I could and it stripped the threads smooth on the grade 8 lock nut but didn't even leave a scratch on the tie rod end and this holds true for every Detroit axle products I have used and I have completely rebuilt the suspension of several vehicles with their products.

EDIT: Jan 2023. The right side ball joints have noticeable vertical play in them now. Less than 20k miles. Super cheap, fully greasable set. Rented the Autozone balljoint press and master adapter kit, worked great. Make sure to grease them when the axle is still out of your way. Installed on a 98 XJ with 31 inch tires and 5 inch lift. Been about a month of daily driving with some proper offroading and flexing, no issues at all. Glad I saved a little money VS buying the ones that are 4x the price. I used antiseize on both the body of the ball joints into the axle and the posts of the ball joints going into the knuckle so if they fail the replacement will be even easier.
