Perfect For Glass!
These gloves have worked out perfectly for my handling of warm glass in my kilns. (1400-1600 degrees). I have Kevlar but these protect all the way up my arms.

These work - if you like things that fall apart
Sadly, after leaving a glowing 5 star review originally, I found that I jumped the gun and need to change it to one star. While the parameters I outlined originally still hold: designed for high heat, long gauntlet length, etc, the durability and quality of the material is quite poor as others have said and which I guess I hoped I'd somehow avoid. I had to return them twice (& then gave up) as they fell apart each time. These are used in industry, and it's hard to believe that industry could or would tolerate anything at this price point with material that has no durability and is of low quality workmanship at a consumer level of usage, let alone at an industrial scale. So, it feels like the manufacturer is foisting factory seconds onto unwitting comsumers in a hope they won't notice. Take your chances. I tried and lost that bet on this one.

They are big and clumsy
They definitely are for use in the kiln but they are so big and inflexible itโs hard to use them in a small space. I have smaller hands so almost non functional for me.

Limited direct heat and too long, for most employees.
These are well made gloves. However they do not handle direct heat as high as we need. Our employees say that they can really feel the heat through them at about 700ยบF. Additionally, the 23" is just too long for most of our employees.

Perfect pair
Excellent quality and very flexible vs other brands

Potters these don't last
I periodically do Raku and have had my old gloves for years. They finally wore out and I tried this brand. After only 4 firings the sleeve frayed and has a big hole in it. I can not recommend these gloves. Maybe just a defective pair, but still, not made well.

Bad stiching
After receiving 2nd pair cause 1st pair had a hole in the stiching, as soon I opened the bag and took gloves out I noticed the right glove middle finger at the tip of the glove was a hole, not happy at all

Recommend
Liked how they fit on the hands, dislike how they began to unravel and come unstiched at the seams after a few weeks. Stood up to heat well until they began to fall apart. Used them to remove hot metal from ovens.
