My Kenmore washer was spinning slowly during the spin cycle, so clothes were coming out sopping wet. Research told me that this was probably due to a worn-out clutch, and/or motor coupling. In my case it was mostly the former. The replacement clutch was well-made, and fit perfectly. The motor coupling did not, and to get the pieces to fit would have required filing down the inside surfaces a bit (I did not have to replace them anyway, the existing ones were fine). I did replace the rubber part, which was stretched out. My washer is now running good as new.

Installed in the washer but it did not solve the problem. New washer purchased.

I called the repairman to fix the washer. I was told it would be a minimum of $250.00 to replace the clutch. I decided to see if Youtube could help. I found a video on how to fix the washer, which seemed simple enough for me and then went searching for parts on the internet. Parts were expensive but still better than the quote. Then I wondered if Amazon would have them. I found the parts (the clutch assembly) at a much better price. I was able to give repairing the washer a shot because of how reasonable the parts cost was. With the parts and the video I had the washer up and running in about an hour. Amazon just keeps getting better and better. As far as the quality of parts, the washer is working like a dream. I have washed quite a few loads to this point with no problems.
