Great for keeping kids out of rooms
Just installed two of these to keep my kids out of the basement (dangerous tools and chemicals) and my bedroom (we all need some privacy). They work great- I set up the keycards as well as fingerprints for both my wife and me. They seem solid, and the fingerprint reader works reliably. Installation is no harder than a standard door handle.I didn't buy the hub, so mine are just handles with keypads and fingerprint readers, which is all I need/want. But if you do add the hub they turn into fully fledged smart locks, with remote access via app.My only complaint is that I can't get the tamper alarm to stay off, despite changing the setting in the app multiple times. My youngest likes to play with the fingerprint reader, which sets off the alarm and also prevents legitimate access for ~60sec.EDIT 8/22/22: I've installed a third unit, and all are still working great. One of the latches failed last week- all the electronics and smart components were fine, but the latch itself had a mechanical problem and got stuck. I contacted Yamiry support and they had a free replacement latch at my door within 3 days. Great customer service!

Easy to install with good value for money.
1. Super easy to install on my right-hand door with only took me about 10min for the work. I did a lock replacement; no drill is needed in my case.2. Order with a $15 off coupon; great value for the money.3. For the past 2 weeks, I have been using fingerprint, IR card, and phone APP to unlock the door with all delighted performance. It's worth noting that IR cards and phone APP work super fast and 100% reliable, but sometimes failed with the fingerprint access method (~5% nonsuccess rate). With this regard, I highly recommend always being with your phone and IR card for preventing some unforeseen accidents.4. keyboard works but the design is not smart. There is NO backward or delete option for correcting the passcode, once you type in the wrong passcode 5 times you will hear a 2min alarm and which is very annoying.

Easy to operate
I needed a lock that wasn't too wide because of the features my door had and this lock was just right. It's a good looking lock and easy to operate using a number pass code. You can also use a fingerprint code but I didn't bother with that and also use your smart phone which I bypassed. It was easy to install and works great. I thought the instructions for programming that came with it could be somewhat better or a how-to video but that's the only gripe I have on it.

Nice quality door lock but Private mode feature did not work but was resolved by Customer service
Updated: Yamiry Customer Service reached out to me and wanted to make things right. I explained the issue and they asked if I can give it a try again as they think that the issue I encountered is just on the specific unit I received first. When I received a new unit, I did notice that the privacy mode button is more stable as the first one was flimsy. After testing it for a few days, I have confirmed that the privacy mode feature will disable after being unlocked by the key or an administrator code. This definitely does alleviate my worry that it would stay in privacy mode forever and I am happy with the quick resolution of my issues. I will start to purchase more as soon as the other rooms in my house finish getting remodeled. The door lock is easy to install and the quality is great compared to the other Smart Door Locks on the market. The fingerprint reader works quick as well as the RFID card reader and Number Pad. I only have one problem with this door lock and it is with the Privacy mode feature. It is supposed to prevent anyone from opening the door unless they have the administrator passcode and it does do that but even after I disabled it with the physical switch on the non-keypad side, it would always stay in Privacy mode. It made this lock useless for me since I was interested in the quick unlocks via the fingerprint sensor. All in all, I am impressed with the quality but this Privacy mode feature was a deal breaker for me since it just makes this door lock a doorlock with the number pad.

Eventually will stop working
I purchased 6 units back in September 2022 for a small apartment complex in Mexico. Construction finished way behind schedule so these locks weren’t installed and actually used until about October 2023, that’s important context for timeframe of actual lock usage versus when I bought them.At first, I loved these locks. A good design, many access methods and they worked well to the point I was recommending to my property developer for his 41 apartment complex project.. until it all went wrong, I’m so glad I discovered before he ordered 41 of them! The batteries started to drain really fast, this got worse and worse over time. About a year after starting to use the locks the batteries would drain quickly, even after swapping them out with the best batteries I could find they’d die in about 4 or so months, although it’s super inconsistent between each lock. Now I have two locks that will drain of battery after about a week! Plus one that’s starting to fail and lasts maybe 6 weeks. But one by one, they’re all faulting. Now the worst part is that I emailed support at YAMIRY on the 17th of February. At first they were quick to respond and offered to send replacements for the locks failing.. I thought, wow!! Great customer service.. At first. Then when I gave them delivery and order details they ghosted me.. twice. So I followed up again with a whole new query on 24th of February. They clearly need to invest in a CRM because they had zero context of my original query and then told me they couldn’t send replacements to Mexico. Then they offered a refund but now ghosting me again. Now I’ve had to buy 6 whole new lock systems because I need them to be the same. Also, I live in New Zealand so managing access disasters for guests in Mexico remotely from New Zealand when batteries die on guests etc. is not ideal.YAMIRY locks are absolute garbage, their service is terrible (seriously, a CRM, for real… like business 101) and they don’t follow through. If you’re someone looking for a solution for a holiday rental or similar.. don’t risk this product. The batteries will die without warning and they’ll eventually just fail on you. After just one year of actual use they became useless.
