Nice bonus track surprise!
Love the band, always loved the album so I had to pick it up on vinyl... This one includes a track that wasn't on the CD or streaming release.... Even though I had already heard the song (Don't Leave Me Alone), it was a nice surprise.

Daddy DON'T RUN AWAY!!!!!!!
Definitely an Extreme album for fans.In my opinion, the first two albums where mindbogglingly insane!!!! To the untrained ear, they may sound like Van Halen, but they exceed Van Halen/Hagar. These guys are more electric!! Unmatched, it's understandable why they labeled themselves under "Funky Metal".In this 3rd outing, it kinda feels as if the group lost their youthful spirit. Of course, some tracks may make you think otherwise. One thing that stands out about this ablum is that it feels more poetic... almost philosophical. The full orchestra is a commendable try, though it may come off basic at times, it's necessary to emphasize the grander moments. With that said, the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me. I only discovered this album a month ago, and I've known of Extreme for 6 months.

Most underrated album of all time?
Examine the above statement. Read it again. Again.Yes, I believe "Extreme - III Sides to Every Story" is that good . . .First, I heard the album 12 or 13 years ago. My friend bought the album and it completely blew us away (even as high-school age kids). But I recently purchased the album from Amazon as a tester, of sorts, to see if it's as good as I remembered, or if I needed to remind myself more often how much of a dork I was in high school. Needless to say, there was no reason to chide myself.Nuno, Gary, Paul and Pat are in top form here -- the lyrics are surprisingly relevant after all this time (Re: "Warheads," "Rest In Peace," and Politicalamity"), the phat sounds of the guitar and bass are kicked in the rear by Paul's perfect playing, and Gary drives the whole thing home with his stern blend of rock vocalizations and smooth, flowing harmonies (in the style of "More Than Words") both with himself and Nuno.Surprisingly, the messages here are upbeat for any generation or genre, for that matter. It's pure ear candy for this rock fan to zone out and into this fantastic, great album.

Great album!!! Great group!!
Since my teenage days, when I first listened to Extreme while starting to learn to play guitar, Nuno has become one of my guitar heroes, not only for his soloing, but also for his versatility and ability to communicate through his guitar, wheter it would be a funked-up rock tune or his acoustic playing. But wow...he is truly musically gifted as a songwriter and keyboardist too!!As for this album, it has great performances from all group members throughout, excellent tunes (not only the funky metal vibe from Pornograffitti, but this album is rather diverse but very likable all the way), which vary from heavy to mellow. Can`t say enough about it...simply great!!!I used to have this album back then as cassette (way back then), somehow I lost it and decided to order it. My favorite Extreme album used to be Pornograffitti, but, having become somewhat "mature" (I hope), now I appreciate this album more for its diversity.I also have recently purchased "Saudades de Rock"...excelent album...glad you guys came back togehter, I think you still have looong way to go musically and professionaly. Keep up the good work!!
