I have a 7lb yorkie. His body is small but he has long legs. I tried the small, he wasn't even considering it. LOL, I loved it but he was a hard no. Easy return, great customer service. I then upgraded to to the wide version and it's SO CUTE. Love it and the dog went right in. I don't plan to have people sit on it and I wouldn't trust it to hold an adult but that's not what I bought it for so it's PERFECT.

The screw was too short on one of the feet so I couldn't use the black metal part between the foot and the ottoman. Other than that it seems really nice.

My oldest female cat likes to hide so when I saw this I immediately thought of her. She loves this, she hides in it during the day and sleeps on top at night. I have a total of five cats and they all love it, but I bought it for the one cat. I defiantly will be buying more to place in different spots throughout my house.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this. I have just recently purchased a storage ottoman (from a different manufacturer) that is very sturdy, and thought this kitty ottoman would be more along those lines. The kitty ottoman ships in a flat pack and is basically a very nice cardboard box with very good padded lid with feet. I would not put a lot of weight on top of it, certainly no place for an adult to sit. My cats do like it so far. It gives them a place to peek out into the room with one eye while maintaining cover. Assembly could take just a couple minutes, but the holes for feet weren't exactly aligned so I had to fight with it for a few minutes.Overall I do like it, but if I was shopping in the store I would not have paid this much for this item.

My cats have spent the past few years playing in an old cardboard box filled with paper. It's time to upgrade. This Cat house is the exact same size, and so much nicer than an old torn up box. It's pretty, neat, sturdy. My cats were in it, before I was able to put it together. No instructions, though. I did see the video on Amazon. The only think you need to know is that the inside floor goes in first, because the legs into the holes on the bottom and screw into the floor of the cat house. Then just twist to tighten. That is the only assembly there is. took 10 minutes. My cats won't have to miss their torn up packing paper from their old box, I put it inside this house, so they can play and hide in it. (That's the paper sticking out the door of the house) Both cats wanted to be the first inside. Perfect napping place.

So one of my cats got on the heavy side and her legs aren't as good as they used to be. So I looked for something for her to jump on as a step to be able to climb up on my tall bed and I stumbled upon this product that doubled as a pet bed. I was skeptical about the sturdiness as I also have a Maine Coon which are large breed cats. I figured for the price, I would give it a chance and wow did it come through! Very easy to assemble and disassemble to make it easy to transport or clean. It also passed the test of my large cats with ease. Looks good in my modern style bedroom and is of high quality. Can not recommend this enough to any cat owner!

Our cats love it even though they lay mostly on there towers but keeps them warm inside the Ottoman. We have inside cats only but we put towels on the top & inside to prevent less cat fur and saves the material from wear!!Highly recommended!! We've had it for awhile and still in perfect condition but I'd suggest getting scratching posts so it doesn't get clawed up. Which we have two upstairs better to be safe then sorry especially for how much this costs.

Our dog says that he now can keep a tally of all the backyard invaders now that he can see over the windowsill while sitting on this.
