CascadeLemon Pure Essentials Action Pacs (Pack of 2)

I really dislike the Platinum (Cascade brand) because while the cleaning is powerful, it leaves behind a rinse aid like residue on dishes. If you're like me, and hate rinse aid, then you want something less harsh. That's why I turned to Cascade Pure Essentials.After making the switch from Cascade Platinum to Cascade Pure, I at first was a bit nervous that it wouldn't work effectively. I was pleasantly surprised however when the cycle was complete, and out came clean dishes WITHOUT that residue I was so used to from the Platinum.Now, don't get me wrong. I still have the Platinums for more heavily soiled dishes such as pots and pans with burnt on food that's tough to get off. For most days though where we weren't as messy with our cooking, I use the Pure and am very happy. It cuts through grease just fine and leaves our dishes sparkling clean.Overall, we love it!

Love that this item has a decent EWG score! The product is easy to use, has a mild scent, and is effective.

I am so very proud of Cascade for creating a dishwasher soap that is completely safe for our environment and gets dishes sparkling clean! I have been a fan of Cascade all my adult life, and I’m even a bigger fan now! The chemicals we put into our water effect all life on our planet. So, thank you, Cascade, for this great product! I hope I soon start seeing ads for this so more people will be aware. Thank you Amazon for giving me this choice in my shopping!

We really like this but it’s expensive and not always easily accessible.

My dishes are sparkly clean with or without any rinsing. It’s not terribly harsh on the environment. I’d love to see them get a EPA safer choice designation or other 3rd party safe for our waterways indication but it’s definitely a start. It works well in conjunction with their platinum line rinse aid and other products so it’s a 5 star to me. The box is sturdy and it’s the highest count option I found so there’s some bulk purchase savings. I use subscribe and save to get additional savings without worrying about ever running out!

I ordered this because I want to start using dishwasher pods that are a little less harsh, less scent and without as many chemicals. It's a lighter version of the regular Cascade, but it still cleans the same. The scent bothers me sometimes with regular Cascade. This isn't completely fragrance free, but it definitely has less of a strong scent. I will be purchasing this again in the future.

I have used the Cascade Platinum pacs for quite a while but have been trying to swap out my cleaning products with more natural versions whenever I can. It's usually hit or miss whether the less toxic cleaning products actually work as well. In this case, I find these to be just as effective without the dyes or harsh chemicals. SO happy to have discovered them, and I'm hoping they will be added to the EWG Healthy Cleaning Scores database soon so I can verify their safety score.

These are green washed and they are not natural, that being said, I tried all of the natural ones. I could write a dishwasher soap blog post for how many I’ve tried. This is the only one that is not chocked full of scent and chemicals that works. The other natural ones are great but they leave gross film on things because of the hard water here. People up north with softer water seem to do ok with them but not down here.
