lovely good quality light that works incredibly well, perhaps too well! had to buy an automatic smart plug because keeping it on for 20ish hours a day created lots of algae but my shrimps, plants and snails love it! on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. i love the little stand that’s on the clip (my glass aquarium cover leans right on it and it creates a gap where my plants can get out, but keep that in mind if you want the lid to be flush and not at an angle… Overall everything worked out perfectly for me and i love it <3

This light is amazing and is the perfect size for a small cube tank (around 3 gallons). Beyond 5 gallons, you'd probably need 2. I enjoy how bright it is, how sleek it looks, and how it doesn't create too much heat. It is pretty adjustable and it's great! It is easy to install, however, once cannot use this with a rimmed tank. Maybe if the rim is thin enough, but for my 75G, the clamp won't fit unfortunately.

I now have two of these and may get more. I really prefer point light sources over the spread-out LED arrays because the aesthetics are simply superior. These are very bright and flexible and easy to add to whatever setup you have. It's great as a simple aquarium light and gives you that signature "shimmer" people drop big bucks on for Kessel and the likes, and it will grow you plants like mad without encouraging too much allergy [sic]. I particularly like them for vivariums, terrariums, and emmersed plant setups because you can (optionally) position the light high above the tank and point it where you need it, acting as a great light for whatever plants you might want to grow. It'd probably double as a fantastic hydroponics light.

Not bad for a small aquarium, however why not to supply it with more versatile clip?! This one is good for about 3/8 " rim.

Absolutely beautiful lights. They are very bright, Par is a bit too high in a shallow tank, so I have to get creative and keep the plants off to the side of the center beam. I would LOVE it if it had a dimmer. I do LOVE the look of these, so clean looking on my two UNS nano tanks. I like them so much I'd rather work around them on my shallow tank than return. It's fine on my one gallon cube.
