Corpus Hermeticum: The Divine Pymander

I really appreciate that Styx is bringing back a lot of the old grimoires and occult literature. In the past they have been hard to find and can be very expensive to purchase. Nowadays your unlikely to run across a cheap copy in a used book store and the cost of old copies online can be really high. The more popular ones are still in print, but can still cost a lot. If you are interested in the information, as I am, this is a great way to expand your knowledge without breaking the bank. The editing is well done, unlike a lot of other open source books sold on Amazon, time was actually put into making sure the book is readable.

Wow I didn't even know what to expect, I guess I needed this. It's a Lil difficult reading at times but some of the things spoken will stick out and hit you. Amazing knowledge it feels literally like he's having a conversation with God and God is sharing divine knowledge with him. It felt biblical, personal, this book seems to get a dark type of vibe to it but I'm just glad I bought this to have add to my library.

I have been into metaphysics, magik and seeking further wisdom for as long as I can remember. I recently began studying Hermeticism and it is truly profound. I've heard of the Corpus Hermeticum and wanted to read it to further my hermetic knowledge. This book is truly priceless. I would recommend any seeker to read this book. The seller of the book in which I purchased from delivered a well priced and well designed copy. I look forward to rereading this book many times.

If you're into studying the esoteric, or simply looking to become initiated in the Hermetic path, then this book is the one for you.As is with most wisdom pieces, the story is presented in a dialogue, either between the legendary Hermes Thrice Great, His son Tat, Asclepius, or even the great Man-Shepard itself, Pymander.The Books presentation is certainly occult looking, and looks the serious part. The cover material is odd however, in that it smudges and fingerprints quite noticeably. Everything else is fine!

I like the clear dialogue he received and when Hermes did not understand he inquired more fully. Recognizing that Hermes Trismegistus later reincarnated asMercury makes it easy to see the continuity from Poemander (The Divine Pymander).

I recommend this particular book of esoteric knowledge. I have misplaced it, so I can't scan it for now. It was, however, one of my favorite reads. I consider it The Textbook of esoteric knowledge. All of the main principles. If you want another primer, that introduces the seven hermetic principles, then get The Kybalion as an adjunct to Corpus Hermeticum, the Divine Pymander.

Great quality and revision. Only thing I wish it came with was a title or signifying label on the spine of the book. So when I buy more of the same authors’ work, I could dictate between the books

The Introduction, which os presumably written by Tar Warwick, although not assigned consists of nothing but hostile Rhetoric. I would by-pass the Intro and get to Hermes' words. Or better just buy another book like The Hermetica by the Freke & Gandy.

Warwick's edition of the essential text of Hermeticism. Brilliant stuff and recommended reading for anyone with even the slightest interest in this part of the occult.

Understanding, in my opinion, cannot be gained with one single reading. It is meant to be studied. There is much learning about our universe to be derived from its teachings.
