The media could not be loaded.  I only know how this cleaner works on my CD player. I didn't use it on any other devices yet. I hadn't used my 18-year old CD player in my old GMC for years cause it hadn't played CD's right for years. I knew it had become filthy being that old. So I knew I wanted a cleaner that came with a liquid solution for a good cleaning rather than using one of those cleaning disks that only have dry brushes. So I put a drop of solution on 1 brush (the cleaning disk has 2 brushes), and ran thru the procedure several times. Got some improvement, but wanted more. So, since the solution evaporates so fast, I decided to put 2 drops of the solution on both brushes, and plug the disk in, and skip listening to the directions, and go immediately to track 5 to start the cleaning b-4 the solution could start evaporating. Old player works perfect now.

My CD player is 18 years old and it was skipping like crazy on every cd (discs which played perfectly in a boombox). I was going to replace the whole unit but wanted to try cleaning the lens first. I first ran the cleaner disc dry without liquid because the directions say to do that, but that did not stop the skipping. Then I ran it with the liquid, and that fixed the skipping. Plays perfectly now. Many lens cleaner discs you will see only have the dry brushes, but you definitely should get the one that has a cleaning liquid. Wetter is Better. This saved me lots of $$ from buying a whole new CD player and I have lots of cleaner left.
