I used this to replace a zipper in an inexpensive carry-on suitcase. The suitcase had a nice design, but the old zipper would completely pop open at times, rendering it useless for travel.The zipper was easy to sew into place with a sail-maker's awl, opens and closes smoothly, and (unlike the previous cheap zipper) I feel like it's very strong and reliable. I've already traveled with it four times with no issues.

The zipper on my hunting coat started opening up in the middle after being zipped up. No shame, it was 15 years old. I sewed this heavy duty zipper in place outside of the old zipper and it works great. The teeth are 3 times as big as the original zipper, made of plastic and can be zipped/unzipped quietly in the deer woods.

The picture is not correct. I thought I was ordering a zipper with one zipper pull but received a zipper with 2 zipper pulls which will not work for my project. The picture clearly shows only one.
