Don't know how Martina Cole keeps comiing up with books like this. Although you are supposed to really hate many of the characters you just don't. They are so true to life and show both sides of themselves and one can imagine if one were in the same circumstances, the same decisions would be made. Would thoroughly recommend this book.

Absolute drivel. Save your money. Dull, boring, repetitive and written for babies. A page and a half per chapter is not my idea of a book, even if there are158 of them.

I have read nearly all of Martina's books ,this was the worst one.I ended up skipping parts of the pages just to finish the book.I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to read.Rubbish.

I just could not put this book down. Every time I had a break from doing something else I usually found myself taking it up again and again until it was finished. Just loved it!!! Please hurry up with the next one.

Read this book. Martina Cole will not disappoint.

A very good read - one of her best.The Good Life can cause so much hardship to all the families involved. Brutal in parts and the lives of the wife's must be heartbreaking and full of fear.

I love Martina Coles books, but I found this one not as easy to read. It just didn't "grab me" like her books usually do. Still a good read, but in my opinion, not up to her usual standard.

Cole is definitely the queen of the underworld.Great writing and very hard to put down. You're addicted from word one.Enjoy

Well written but just like the rest of her books. Just change the names but the story is just the same. Please please please give us something different. I have read eleven of her books now and although they are great stories they are all the same.

Do Not Buy This Book! It is an utter repeat of her previous books. Same stories, different character names!! The early ones were really good. But all she churns out now, are the same rubbish, shallow, and so dated stories. Using the same words and phrases, again and again, and again! Not one scene is described in any detail. The chapters are a complete joke! IT SUCKS!!That is 12 hours of my life I will never get back! It killed a stormy day, stuck in a Hotel room, but how I wished I hadn’t bothered. I prayed it would be saved by a good ending, but nope, just utter drivel and so lazily written. Go and do something more interesting instead!I couldn’t give it 0 stars. It did not deserve 1.

Earlier books were fantastic! However this is repetitious and quiet frankly is becoming a chore to read, all the women are gorgeous and big breasted, the men are handsome and charming when this is probably a long way from the truth. This book has left reality a long way behind.

Martina Cole has done it again , a brilliant story line , a true thriller just as I thought I knew what was coming next there was a complete U turn and many twists and turns , and brilliantly written in true Martina style 10/10 and 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 highly recommend this as a must read
