My son has smashed it into countless walls and floors and it's holding up other than some replacement blades which you can find
We got this for my 11 year old for Christmas. I wish it would fly a bit straighter/hove when you aren't providing input, but it's very entry level so it's about what you'd expect. My son has smashed it into countless walls and floors and it's holding up other than some replacement blades which you can find fairly easily. The largest issue has been keeping the spindles clean from hair and lint.

Not the right product
This product was not the one advertised and when you try to take off it flys straight up at max speed and crashes

Micro (indoors) Drone
One of the best ways to learn this new mode of an activity. A good way to drive the cat nuts! Nice product, rugged (thank goodness) and a whole lot of fun. Now itโs time to try out the big boys.

Flies Crooked
For the first couple of weeks this product worked fine. Then it started flying crooked and now it doesn't fly at all. Would not buy this again. This should definitely fly longer than 1 month. Boo Sharper Image!

Don't expect big things from a little package...
I bought this as an open box item at a local retail store for 11.90. Having had flown lots of big boy drones and having a drone videography, LLC I can say that I have some experience to back up my comments.First off I see there were comments about battery life? Are you kidding me? Have you seen the size of this battery? It's like a really thick postage stamp! Of course the battery life is gonna be short. Hello? Ya know the batteries for my big drone are 120.00 each Not sure I'd complain about the short battery time.I see complaints about the constant need for input. I can tell you if you spend the 1000.00 for a drone you can expect it to fly without input. My DJI Phantom 3 Advanced Pro has autonomous flight, follows a flight plan, GPS, no input hover, return home, etc. These little drones do two things. They are to tease cats and give you fun while you get the flight control down.Onto the flight: I have to admit that these controls are way sensitive to anything but a feather soft touch. The trim: These little things don't have the type of gyro that allows it to self correct it's own flight character. I adjust my trims with every battery charge. Yes I have banged it on walls, through plants, chased cats, etc. I broke one blade and lost another. But it came with 4 extra blades and I just ordered several more pairs from Amazon. $14.xx. Make sure if you are new to droning that you always point the white lights away from you (or the red leds towards you.) As the battery winds down you can expect the flight character to change too.Don't expect this thing to operate like a big boy toy or a commercial drone. They are a toy and meant for fun. Yes it does make you crazy trying to learn how to fly it. But that's half the fun, right? It just takes patience...

Be careful
Very easy to control despite some reviews. It took me a minute to figure it out. A good way to describe the controls is almost like using"force lift" ability in Force Unleashed. You don't know what that is? Oh, well. It flew straight most of the time. It was easy to recalibrate when it needed to be. Cat hair in the blades made mine fly crooked, so I took the blades off to clear out any debris that was slowing down the spinning. My cats were in awe of it for almost a year. The battery loses its power after about ten minutes of flight. Today, I took it outside for the first time. I wanted to see how high this thing could go. Straight up into the sky it went. It wouldn't stop. It would not respond to the remote control. It flew down the street farther and farther, about six doors down, and then tumbled straight down into the intersection in the middle of the road, pretty far away from where it took off. I ran to retrieve it and just as I got close, a truck ran it over. Don't take it outside. This is an indoor drone.
