Timloc 5560 Pack 10 Roofing Felt Lap Vent Stops Loft roof Condensation/Attic Space Ventilation Airflow

We was suffering with a bit of condensation in our loft due to lack of ventilation in our 1940's home. We thing due to the loft insulation being increased and it going to far into the eaves. However the warmth it added was great, hence me looking at other ventilation options. I came across these and thought ah they are worth a shot. So I bought a load and slipped them in-between the roofing felt inside my loft and they work brilliantly. The condensation issue has stopped and I have seen no negatives whatsoever. I have also recommended them to family and friends who have all reported the same. They are simple in design and application, however for the cost and ease of use and the potential damage these prevent they are an absolute bargain. I hope you found this review helpful. Our loft was frequently getting very warm and stuffy in summer and some soft items started getting mouldy, so wanted to increase ventilation. Rather than ask a roofing specialist to fit a vent I decided to try these first. They are very easy to fit - just slide them between the felt from the top and they hold the pieces apart enough to allow air flow between the sheets. I staggered them around the lift space for maximum air flow and they seem to do the job. As they fit between the felt, underneath the top layer, there’s no chance of rain getting in and insects are blocked. The loft seemed much fresher in the summer and no return of the mould so I’d say a value for money way of increasing air flow.

It can be easily fitted in seconds. And seems to do the job .

Going into a newly insulate attic i noticed a fair amount of condensation, these were a first attempt to improve circulation. Easy to install. I needed 2 packs so did cost quite a bit but I also got soffit vents installed at the same time. Seemes to have reduced humidity in the attic so both together have improved air circulation. Can not say if these on their own soled the issue but together with the vents they worked

Easy to fit and immediately felt the air movement in my loft. Be sure to read up on the correct installation as you could cause a leak. Well built and strong enough to undertake the job on hand

I got this as the humidity in my loft is high, it's lowered it slightly, I may need to look at the other issues now. I can feel the air coming in now, see the thingy moving with the wind, and on really windy days it makes a fliblblblblblblblbl noise as it moves in the , which can be quite loud.

A reasonably priced solution to the condensation issue in my shallow pitched roof. The performance was good and the issue i had in my roof was reduced hugely. Relatively easy to install, the only issue i had was that some of the felt had bonded to the over lap so difficult in some instances to install. Give them a go as a much cheaper solution than calling out a roofer.
