I really like this handle but I have an issue with it. Follow the instructions and remove everything from inside the handle first. It defiantly floats! That’s the purpose of it, right? Well, the downside is that I’ve found it can be a challenge to record underwater with this handle because it’s wants to, you guessed it, FLOAT! I’ve actually had quite a few shots spoiled because I was wrestling to hold the camera level underwater. In the pool, I swim down on a breath hold. So my body already wants to float and I have to actually swim down, I don’t sink. Then I’m wrestling underwater like a Navy SEAL to hold the camera in the shot. It’s an impractical pain. So I’m debating the practicality of this. I think I’ve passed the Return window for it and it’s not terrible, so I’m sure I’ll keep it. Still, expect to use this handle best at the surface. If you want to record your kid swimming underwater, you’ll find the handle is not your friend.

If you're looking for a floaty hand grip for your camera or GoPro, this one is a great choice, with an affordable price tag! Its made of heavy-duty plastic with solid construction all the way around, including the tightening screw and adapter. It has a thick rubber grip for a non-slip hold, and should fit cameras (and phone adapters) with a 1/4" mount hole. The storage space in the handle is great too, and can also be used to house the mini tri-pod that comes with it.I'm very pleased with it, and it compliments my FUGI XP140 water camera nicely!If you're looking at different grips in the $10-$12 price range, this is the best I found, and highly recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. Everything worked as advertised. I’ve seen many reviews of similar products that gave bad reviews due to the product not floating. Just my two cents - the product description CLEARLY says remove the tripod and accessories from inside the handle before using for floatation. Yeah, if you don’t remove those, probably won’t float. But how can people give a product bad reviews for something the product description explicitly describes and they didn’t bother to read? Right?Far as the tripod legs, yes, they are the clickety metal kind that stays in place, and worked like shown in picture. You bend the legs to how you’d want, etc. It also came with a tripod 1/4 screw adapter. I don’t have a 1/4 screw hole on my cam or the adapter, so I couldn’t try it. 316 stainless will likely rust and stain eventually but should last awhile. I don’t see any signs of water intrusion in the handle but, I haven’t taken diving yet so can’t tell you how it will do at depth. I’d expect will be fine for the shallower depths. The lanyard was unexpectedly decent quality, very thick and comfy and well made crimp that you can use to tighten around wrist to secure. The tiny little aluminum carabiner it came with seems pretty darn useless.Conclusion: for the price, I can’t complain. Everything works as advertised - just DO NOT expect it to float with the tripod inside - just as product description says!

Everything is good except the attached for the camera broke after tightening it. I suggest buying a stronger camera attachment to prevent losing your expensive action camera.

I appreciate all of the extras that come with it and that the handle can be used for storage. It really came in handy when a thumb screw and a mount broke to have replacements when my camera supplies were out of reach.

Perfect fit for my gopro hero 9 black, the tripod is very useful, highly recommend.
