P Trap PalSink Check Valve to Prevent Sewer Odor and Insect Invasion from a Dry P-Trap

What I did not find in the description of this product, was that it needs 5 inches of head pressure in order to work properly. I do not have 5 inches of head pressure. I wish it had stated that in the description, because I would not have bought it. However, if you have 5 inches of head pressure, it may work for you.

I have upstairs bathroom that is never used. We live in Las Vegas and it gets so hot. The water doesn’t cover the people in the Fossett. It would stink so bad I had plumbers out… Everything trying to figure it out. This small item did wonders! I bought it a while back ago and was just telling my daughter how great of a purchase it was!

This was too big for the bathroom faucet drain. It was the same diameter as the outer diameter of the pipe so no way it could have fit inside. Wouldn't fit on the other end either because the diameter was too big for the inner diameter of the p-trap. Without completely redoing my plumbing there is no way this thing would work :(

I got this product to help keep bugs from breeding in the u-bend and coming up the sinks. I ordered 3 P Trap Pal’s, 1 for each sink in my house and had all 3 installed in less than 10 minutes. The install was quick and easy, it took longer to pull everything out and put it back than it did to install the P Trap Pal. The idea is super simple and the solid construction definitely got 2 thumbs up! Haven’t seen bugs around my sinks since I installed the P Trap Pals and the water still drains like normal. All in all a good buy!

So I installed one of these at my house and it worked! It eliminated all odors and insects. (Which were bad. We have an old house) Best thing is that I'm a contractor and take care of summer rentals, that sometimes sit vacant for a while and begin to smell, not to mention the insects that enter through the pipes. I got one for every house and it fixed that smell and stopped the insects! A product I can easily install and forget.... priceless! I highly recommend getting P Trap Pal's.

It's lasted 2 second and get swallowed by the drain pipe! Should be sold for 50 cent not $20!

Bought this product last fall for my vacation home in the mountains, and it has worked extremely well. Had a terrible insect issue, and it has solved the issue! The instructions are simple and easy to follow. Started using for in rental properties as well to eliminate odors. Highly recommend!
