Solid buy. Worked for my 1cyl scooter!
This was plug-and-play on my GY6 scooter. I only wish it were waterproof. I wrecked the first one trying to seal the gauge face. I struggled with a cheap $20 Amazon tach and bought adapters and filters and couldnโt get it to work. Checked this one against my inductive meter and it never gets further out than +/- 200rpm all the way up to 8k. My ECU cuts the coil when coasting so the tach drops to zero, but thatโs not on the tach MFR. Just a little annoying. Like I said, would be perfect if it were waterproof, but itโs not advertised that way so still 5 stars. Great instructions and easy to install. The harness port will pull straight out of the back of the gauge, so if you need to disconnect make sure the lock is pushed on the male end of the connector all the way and pull out slowly. Easy enough to put the female connector back in but itโs not indexed and you can install it backwards so take a pic before removing the harness just in case.

Nice quality and works as stated. So much better than the Chinese stuff.

Only for mechanically inclined
This product is amazing and works great as well as looks great but do not buy unless you are or know someone who is mechanically inclined because it took me 10 hours to install this.

O.K. if it is dash mounted But I cant and ordered a surface mount accessory but its not 2" Dia still trying to find an enclosure or swivel stand to mount on top of dash my fault should have ordered the other Model
