I was looking for a small ballhead for my Action 4 and this is tiny! It's exactly what I was looking for. Construction is all metal with a rubberised band around the body, making gripping the thing easy. I was concerned I'd find the tightening screw fiddly, but that tab allows easy purchase between thumb and forefinger. It's a better solution than the usual rounded, plastic knob, especially considering its diminutive size. I did buy another similar sized Smallrig ball-head, just in case this wasn't fit for purpose, but this is exactly what I was looking for and can't see how they could improve on the design. I like that the colour matches the Action 4's Smallrig cage, which was purely coincidental. For its size it's solid, which is what you'd expect from Smallrig, but I've included some photos so you can see it in use because I found the product photos difficult to visualise. I've screwed a Tilta magnetic clip to the top of the ballhead, allowing quick release of the Action 4. I'm not sure I needed two of these but they only came as a pack of two, and I'll probably find a use for the other. Could work well as a small light mount.

I bought these as they're about the same price as the similar Neewer versions when bought as a set of two. They are tiny but versatile hot shoe adaptors that allow for rotation of an attachment (such as a monitor or GoPro to your camera). They arrived with two hex keys, but I can't figure out what the second one is for, only one of the keys fit. Using the Allen key, you can remove the base plate and it looks like you can screw the ball head into a standard tripod thread, which might be useful. Well made and sturdy, these will be a useful addition to the bag of accessories and adaptors.

Absolutely brilliant, high quality, feels really nice, sturdy, just a really pleasant surprise given the price! And it’s a twin pack, if you need one of these (or two) just order it, no regrets at all

Seem to be constantly buying small ball heads for little cameras to be put on. These have been the best we've ever had. All metal design, small, but as with all small rig kit, well made. We have finally found our 'go to' when we need replacements.

So, these things are excellent - they do exactly what I wanted to AND they didn't cost me a fortune. So you may be asking, why did they only get a 4 star instead of the 5 star rating that they probably should get. Well, its because Smallrig clearly expects that their items will be being bought by photographers and folks with a clue - sadly in this instance, I am neither of those things . And so, something which an experienced photographer would have figured out in exactly zero time, (how to mount the damned things to the monitor shelf in the picture) took me absolutely ages and I'm not ashamed to say that I definitely swore, a lot, the whole time I was trying to figure out how the hell to fit them. How could the item have gotten 5 stars - simple, they could have included some rudimentary instructions explaining how the flaming things work, preferably in small words, because as previously stated I am clearly clueless. Now that they are fitted, however, they do exactly what I wanted, which is to ensure consistent lighting levels for Zoom/Teams calls and the upcoming YouTube content!

Small rig una sicurezza. Prodotti ben fatti, molto curati e solidi. Tutto alluminio, stretta della sfera robusta. Possibilità di smontare la slitta cold shoe con l’apposita griglia per cambiare l’attacco in vite femmina. Scatola da due pezzi.

Solid little ballheads. I had to figure out how to get the hot-shoe mounts off. But the provided allen-keys made it quite easy. They're a lot more solid than the cheaper ones, which tend to lose their rigidity over time. These things are great.
