Bonide Captain Jack's Neem Max, 8 oz Concentrated Cold Pressed Neem Oil

This product is amazing at killing pests. I have a heavy intestation of Japanese beetles, and this is one of the best broad spectrum insecticides for indoor / outdoor use on the market. It can also be used in a hydroponic system and is recommended for organic gardening. This 16 oz bottle will make up to 20 gallons of pesticide concentrate. Because I have a heavy infestation I need 4.5 tablespoons per gallon of water. I have Japanese Beatles crawling all over the place and what this does is destroys their ability to breathe by coating their body with an oil and also when ingested, they die. Mixed in a one gallon sprayer it's very easy to spray, it does not have any residue. It is recommended that you wait until it's below 90°. So spray in the morning or in the evening and coat your leaves, but don't drench them dripping wet. This it product can be used on bulbs, fruity vegetables, legumes, roots tree nuts, herbs, spices, even on grass, lawns and ornamentals. One amazing versatile pesticide. This one bottle that's gonna make up to 20 gallons is a great product, safe to use and has a great price. I don't think you could ask for more.

I grow tomatoes every year and this year in particular the leaf footed bugs have been super persistent. The adult bugs have to be removed manually but this mix does so well to stop the nymphs from maturing. The provided measuring lid is super helpful and it's a great price.

Had an issue with fungus gnats after purchasing some new plants. Bought this , mixed it up in a gallon jug as directed and watered all the plants. Took about a week but no more annoying little flies!! It does have a strong scent when you first water the plants, but fades quickly. I will continue to use this occasionally to keep them at bay! I also bought decorative sand to cover over the planting soil as that was recommended to keep them from laying eggs in the soil and sticky traps to catch any lingering fliers. Highly recommend if you're having this issue with indoor plants.

This product worked well on Japanese beetles on my peach trees. It has helped slow down beetles on my bean plants. It has killed grasshoppers off my blackberry plants. It helped kill army worms that were destroying our corn plants. It does not last long tho. A couple days and it no longer protects my plants. It was worth it to spray my fruit trees every few days instead of hand picking the beetles as that became so overwhelming. I love that this is supposed to be safe for bees as it only kills bugs that ingest it like the beetles and army worms that munch the leaves. I did not notice any less bee activity so I believe this claim. I did see some grasshopper skeletons, but didn’t see proof of dead beetles, but saw no beetles or worm carcasses/skeletons but saw reduced and sometimes no bugs at all on the plants soon after spraying. I sprayed a very liberal amount on plants, in the evening at dark on dry, rainless days and tried to water at the base to be sure not to rinse it off. I will continue using and buying this product as it was effective just doesn’t last a long time.

Jack’s Neem Max Concentrate has been a useful addition to my garden care routine. It’s easy to mix and apply, and a little goes a long way. I like using it as part of my regular plant-care routine to help keep common garden pests under control. It’s convenient to have a concentrated product rather than buying a ready-to-use spray. Got rid of my fungus gnats after trying many different things to stop them!

It worked really well on my Thai pepper plants. It killed everything: the hundreds of bugs infesting and also killed off all my leaves. I was sad and happy at the same time. However, the leaves are growing back and I’m hoping for the best. At least it got rid of all the bugs. Oh yeah, it smells really bad and also extremely dangerous for pregnancy.
