A teacher friend had these on her back to school wishlist. She says they’re the best pencils for middle school kids.

I love Ticonderoga, but...
I purchased these pencils (yellow) for a custom engraving order. I have purchased Ticonderoga pencils before (pastel) and love them. You can see from the images that the yellow pencils were not sharpened to a point, and they appear to be a bit dirty. The yellow pencils were $0.26 while the pastel were $0.30- go ahead and splurge the extra nickel unless you need the traditional pencil.

I never knew you could get pencils ready sharpened.

Maybe buy under Dixon instead. Does not sharpen well
I had bought these pencils before from Dixon the large ones and bought the normal from a store. We now ordered these from Ticonderoga and something is wrong with them. They brake easily and when you sharpen it just doesnt. I then noticed You can buy from Ticonderoga and from Dixon so maybe that is the difference. Maybe the Ticonderoga ones are fake wood.
