Brilliant Series
I don’t often write a review. But couldn’t not for these books. Couldn’t stop reading or read fast enough!! And so disappointed that it had to finish. Brilliant in-depth story lines. Thank you.

Five stars! Excellent conclusion to the series
No plot spoilersThere are some potential triggers relating to kidnap and both sexual and physical abuse. There are no errors that I can recall.I have adored this series since the first page of the first book and I can honestly say the conclusion to the series stands as a fitting testament to the magic Cherise Sinclair introduced us to in that first book.Hawk's story is a long road for him and covers all aspects of his life, right from just how he ended up in that awful foster home aged 9 to what made him the man he grew into.Kit's story is equally as detailed, and does cover some of the experiences at the hands of the PZ. The story of her self discovery and journey of healing is well written and true to life. The plotline is so engaging I literally could not put the book down. The characterisation is outstanding, with individual personalities and motivators that resonate with the reader.I would like to believe that somewhere in Alaska the town of Rescue plays host to the families of the Hermitage and their stories continue unwritten. You can bet your socks I will be returning to Rescue regularly, for the feel good factor alone! The authors depictions of the wild Alaskan scenery are breathtakingly beautiful and make me long to see it for myself. There are some sex scenes and loads of swearing, plus a fair bit of gruesome violence. If you are a fan of romance, this series has it in spades. It's sad to see the end of a series you love, but I find I am nothing but grateful to the author for penning the story.I have no problem recommending the series but would advise reading from the beginning to obtain the best reading experience.

Good Series
I loved this series - started it with the thought I can send it back if I don't like the series. I read them all back to back and loved them. I love a series which starts with a couple and they are still in the story in the last book, so you know what happens to them, and just doesn't end when they get together. Well worth a read - now I have to find another series to read that isn't easy.

Fab-u-lus
What an amazing book to finish the series. Could not put it down. The story about Hawk and Kit was so beautiful and cleverly written because there was so much emotional scarring to deal with. Brought me to tears so many times l just wanted to hug them all. The hero of the story for me is Arric. What a beautiful bonny brave child. Please write a story about him one day Cherise in fact a spin off series about all the children would be incredible. So what to read now, l think I'll start at the beginning of all Cherise Sinclair s wonderful books again esp this one x

Amazing and fitting end to the story of Rescue
Cherise has done it again. This story of four brothers and their families encompasses the whole of the little town. Over the last books all the inhabitants have become familiar and grown alongside the romantic storyline of how the men all find women worthy of their love. Hawk’s the last one and we’ve all been routing for him and eager to find out more about his back story. This last book ties up all the loose ends in a rollercoaster ride that’ll have you laughing and crying throughout. Read after the other books and now I’m off to back my bags and move to Alaska!

Great set of books
Love the way the personalities and relationships build, the sex is hot and the friendships a dream.I enjoyed this series. I love the books written by Cherise. Her detailed dedication to building a believable, relatable story line, with real feel people is what keeps me coming back to her books all the time. I have red them all and they are true to life and realistic. She will forever be my favourite author, even if the series get a little but shorter.

A celebration of humanity
I loved this series. Cherise doesn’t hold back from the two sides of every coin. Love, trust and honour for her are acts expressed through all the dimensions of community, family and relationship intimacy. Her characters are flawed and have their limitations and struggles, but together they overcome them and experience the layered joys of life. All of her writing brings an exciting, sexy story filled with incredible characters that draw you into their brilliantly drawn world, but I also feel challenged and learn more about myself through every story. A triumph in every sense.

perfect conclusion
This has been a fabulous series full of action with an ongoing story throughout. Kit and Hawk’s , not forgetting the gorgeous Aric, story helps to tie up the loose ends of the not only their personal situations but also those of Mako’s family . The characters are really well written particularly the children, the scenery is beautifully described, there is heartbreak, happiness, laughter , fear and fury. It really has it all . Highly recommended.

Farewell to the Sons of the Survivalist
What a glorious ending to this fabulous series. I thoroughly enjoyed each previous book and loved the characters. This book brought everything and everyone together in a grand finale. Great characters, super storyline and lots of action. For me, the conclusion was perfect even though I am sad to see this series end.Cherise Sinclair novels continue to be an automatic purchase for me and I look forward to many more wonderful stories. Thanks.

MS. SINCLAIR DELIVERS AGAIN!
MY REVIEW:Literally finished this book in a day and a half! Omg I have been waiting so long for this book and waiting for Hawk's story. We have seen Hawk over the course if the three previous books before and only gotten small glimpses into who he was.He always seemed like the gruffest of the brother. And the one that didn’t like people period. And although some of this may be true, I had to know Hawk's side of the story. The previous book gave us a little about Hawk and Kit but not nearly enough.Omg Hawk was such a tortured soul and so much nicer than I thought he was. He had a terrible childhood and was one of the boys rescued by Mako but it seemed as if he had the worst childhood prior to that than the other boys. When Hawk saves Kit in What You See, she entrusts him with her 4 year old son Aric. To take care of and watch over until she can. When she does this Aric sticks to Hawk like glue and Hawk can't figure out why. He think's he's scary looking and barely speaks. But little Aric see's past that and to the soul of Hawk and finally see's a man he can trust.Beaten but not broken, Kit is trying to heal from her physical damage as well as her emotional damage. See's been through a lot and trying to recovered is harder than she expected. At least she knows her son is safe with Hawk and her best friend Frankie. When Kit is released from the hospital and brought to the Hermitage - where the 4 brother live with their significant others - all expect Hawk of course - she finds so many people willing to help her get back on her feet.Still healing from the damage that was done to her Kit starts to open up to the family around her as well as Hawk. After all he has to be a good guy with the way her son won't let him out of his sight.“You good?” “Yes.” She leaned against him for a moment. “Thank you. Again.” “Can’t think of anyone I’d rather rescue.” The words were out before he could recall them.”Hawk is always there for her and he can't even understand it. He's not use to being social. But he has a good heart. While caring for her and her son he also teaches her to understand her surroundings and shows her how to defend herself. He also teaches her some of those survival skills he's learned. Both Hawk and Kit aren't great at communicating and have been so hurt in the past that they aren't sure how to deal with each other. But slowly they start to learn, and learn how to talk to each other. Although neither one of them are extra chatty.Watching Kit heal and learn to trust again was so encouraging to see. Even though you've been through some tough times doesn’t mean you have to give up.And, Hawk slowly let go of something from his past and move forward was everything!“Love is something sent from heaven to worry the hell out of you. ~ Dolly Parton”Hawk and Kit and Aric fit together so well, I am so glad that I got to read this book and see these three together. And that I was able to see some of my favorite people from the previous books.WOULD I RECOMMEND:I loved this book! And Hawk omg he was so sweet and caring and considerate. He had so much patience with Kit and Aric.I really enjoyed getting to see different sides of the story and seeing everyone from the all of the books. This was truly a great read!I loved the family dynamic at the Hermitage and how everyone always pitches in to help the other. Also that they all contribute, everyone does work and no one is lazy. And if someone needs something they have each others backs. The way that the town comes together to care for each other is so heartwarming. They really all help and care for one another.I am just so sad that this is the end of this series, it was a great series. And I cant help but wanting more but I do understand that some series are meant to be shorter than others. I'm really going to miss Rescue Alaska and Mako's sons.So even though these books can be read as standalone's I definitely think reading them in order is the best way to go, that way you understand the whole story.
