Bragg Seasoning - Nutritional Yeast (4.5oz)

I love adding this to veggies, popcorn and anything I want a cheesey like flavor without using dairy. I also use in a vinegarette dressing regularly on salads.

Having a vegan diet it’s important to maintain proper vitamin and nutrient levels — and nutritional yeast is one of the staples in my pantry to help accomplish this. Over the years I’ve tried many different brands, but I always, always, return to Bragg’s. You can put it into or on anything. Soups, salads, potatoes — any dish you would usually throw cheese on, Bragg is perfect for. It has a cheesy, slightly nutty, flavor, and blends well with most things. In regards to my order, it was packaged well; however, one of the cans had a small lift in the protective film that exposed the nutritional yeast to air. That said, they came plastic wrapped together and there was no sign of any damage. The contents were fresh and I’ve used almost the entire can. Will absolutely be buying again!

This is my secret weapon for making my savory dishes remarkable. I don't use this just for health purposes. I use it to add that umami flavor to gravies or stews or.roast so it really pops. Great for vegetarian or vegan recipes Bragg's liquid amino acids does the same for liquid dishes. And the nutritional yeast is in flakes that can be added to coating for chicken; pork chops, hamburgers, fried fish. .(OK its not strictly vegan because it's got yeasties in it like yogurt does and most cheeses etc.) I am glad to find it on Amazon since I don't have a great vegetarian supplier around where it might charge less. It makes tofu taste like meat. Well try it and see!

I didn't love it at first because people were saying it's a great cheese substitute... I think it's great in itself. I use it on popcorn with pepper to spice up popcorn and I could eat it by the truck load, I also add it to salsa to thicken it... I have a V-B deficiency so this helps a lot on the week before my next shot.

I’ve been using this nutritional yeast for a couple of years now. I thought I’d write a review because you don’t have to be vegan to enjoy it! I actually put it on my afternoon plain air popped popcorn along with some spices and tiny bits of cheddar cheese. Spritz with a little water first to make it stick. Tastes great and gives me my necessary B vitamins!
