This is watch battery replacement tool is very handy. First things first: it will not work on watches if the back is “screwed” on. I bought this kit on impulse and didnt realize my timex expedition chrono needs a prying tool to pry open the back to access the battery. I also found out that i needed a micro screwdriver in order to remove the battery tie-down metal piece to remove the battery. The build quality is amazing. The piece that holds the watch case is strong and sturdy. The included tweezer works perfectly to remove the pancake battery and also for grabbing those micro screws. For 8 bucks i decided to keep and not return because i know this kit will come in handy in the future

The amount of money I spent on this to change my own battery was worth every penny. Local shop wants to charge $10 for a battery change. Works well and great quality. Makes repair and battery change super easy.

Great little kit. My one issue is that the jig that holds the watch (the yellow thing) doesn't protect the watch face from the screw mechanism. So don't just press the watch all the way down, or you could scratch the glass. Otherwise everything worked no problem.

A very good price for something that works well. I can replace dead watch batteries quickly and easily and save lots of money.

The kit enabled battery change out, but not too straight forward though, some hiccups in the process.

I'm the type of person that tries to fix things before I buy things and believe me.I tried just about everything.I could think of to take the back off my watch without success. So I made the purchase of this package deal and read the instructions follow them and the back came off.Extremely fast and easy. I give this five stars and for the people that couldn't even give it one star.They should have read the instructions.They're very clear and helpful.

This is ridiculously cheap for such a well made and effective tool. I have removed screw backs before with great difficulty. Some backs are impossible to loosen. But with this tool even the most stubborn backs can be loosened. To look at the two small prongs you thing they are quite vulnerable to breakage, but in fact they are very strong. There are only two prongs (compared with three on other devices) but that is sufficient. Used in conjunction with the provided plastic holder, you can tackle watch backs that are screwed really tight. I have now used it succeccfully on four watches of different sizes. That's €30 - €40 saved at the jewellers.
