Bought a few extras
When I got my work sharp system I bought 2 more plates, the system comes with 2 plates already so now I have a different grit on 4 plates going up to the finest grit. Just pop a plate off, flip it to move to the next grit, throw on the next plate and continue. That way you don't have to tear off the paper to move up to the next grit. Essentially allowing you to get more uses out of one sheet of paper. In the long run this will easily pay for itself by saving you paper.
