The toy seems as expected, the issue is the retailer decided to send the toy in the original box, no wrapping!!!! It arrived with three large stickers on the front of the toy. l now will have to attempt removing the stickers without damaging the box, not great if you giving it as a present. Very disappointed

My 7year old niece loved it. Have refills at the ready as she ran out of sticks in 5days

Need a jewellery set?This is the John Adams Store Cutie Stix Creation Set, for 6 years +, 45 pcs.This necklace / bracelet creation set is great, you get 1 x coring unit, 1 x cutting unit, 2 x elastic thread spool, 2 x storage boxes, 12 x connectors, 1 x push rod, 2 x cutting moulds, 1 x ring, 8 x clasps, 2 x large stix and 13 x medium stix.Basically you insert one of the stix moulds into the cutting machine, then insert one of the stix into it and push to end. The stix are long coloured / patterned pieces that when cut are like a stick of rock. Once cut you insert to relevant cutting box whether you want horizontal or vertical hole. Then simply keep repeating, then thread on twine and then tie on clasps.You then have either a bracelet or necklace!You only get a limited amount of stix, so I recommend you buy some refill sets, which ain't cheap!Overall I recommend this set, especially if you get on offer, as it is fun and really creative for little minds.

The stix come in all different designs- they are a bit like a stick of rock that you can cut through and the same design runs throughout. You can use the machine to cut into beads and then you can thread into a bracelet or a necklace. It is a lovely set, and the items inside are well made. It takes a bit of time so it is great for a rainy afternoon. One plus point is it doesn’t use any batteries. The only trouble is the stix can be used up quickly.
